PennysIntoPounds said:And now got a message saying my vinted sale is suspended as the zip is broken. She has posted pics of the top of the zip not present. I know full well the zip was intact and working. She has broken her own zip in the hope of a vinted freebie 😭 I give up trying to better myself or fight against the powers that be. Absolutely pointless as apparently everyone is either a d*ckhead or deranged.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

you may wish to add a breach of data protection to your octopus complaints as the information they hold about you is inaccurate plus they have failed to act upon your right to rectification. make sure they know that you can supply evidence to the ICO along with any escalated complaintMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Pah to awful freebie grabbing immoral people on Vinted and the like - see this is why I have huge admiration for people who are willing to take the time and energy to sell things online, and why it really isn’t for me.Double pah to pesky mouse. We found that the ultrasonic things worked astonishingly well when we had an issue - we only tried it because we had one our predecessors had left behind (tell us you’ve had a mouse problem without telling us… 😂) and honestly didn’t think it would work - shifted it downstairs, plugged in and amazingly no more mice - they’re not massively pricey so could be worth a go?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Looked like a darker one @rachmach3 though he might have changed in appearance since I last saw him
Innit @beanielou @KajiKita @ladyholly
Some people are just *stronger phrase inserted* idiots @twiggy86 though this buyer is next level, I offered her partial refund at about 9.30 last night, woke up to find a string of messages saying 'no you should pay this much' 'okay I'll accept this much' 'fine I'll accept your offer thanks for nothing'.
Jeez, people are allowed to sleep at night
Mum is away for a few days so I went and slept in her bed. I have not got over the adrenalin spike of mouse being so close to bed and waking me up in the middle of the night before, or of the grimness of having seen it walking up the bedroom wall in the night which I'm still trying to pretend I dreamt even though I'm fairly sure I didn't.
I could hear it rustling away behind the fridgefreezer. Annoyingly Mr PIP can't so I just look unhinged frantically gesturing at apparent silence.
Please please can it not eat the fridgefreezer, we can afford it even less than we could before
Will give that a go if situation continues @EssexHebridean, ta. Still seething about the financial loss of my creme eggs from last time though!
Thanks @in_need_of_direction, I have mentioned the data aspect as well as the fact they keep changing their story as to where they got my address from. They're being very quick at sending unpleasant responses now I haven't sent fawning thanks for them offering to wipe out a debt that isn't mine with no compensation for their many, many failings
I am so stressed. And tired. And stressed. Did I mention stressed? Got an absolute ton of stressful build stuff to do too and I just want to go back to bed
I would like to add that I am actually a reasonably calm and competent person in real life.
With the caveat that that evidently doesn't extend to my own real life 😁 There are only so many stresses a woman can take at one time okay?! 😂3 -
Bloody annoying stuff with octopus, vinted and the disguised mouse returning.
good stuff that invigilating is going well, beer with your friend and at least having some build admin to progress with.
hope you have a good BH weekend.0 -

'Holiday', what's that @Blackcats 😂
Good point @rachmac3. If I next see him wearing a false moustache he can stay2 -
Sorry to hear the 🐙 saga continues 😞
Your Vinted experience is exactly why I just donate my stuff to the charity shop. I’ve sold a few things via eBay but quite frankly wasn’t worth the effort. It’s a buyer’s market in my opinion. As for the mouse 😱 Years ago, when I was still a young whippersnapper, the house we lived in had mice in the loft and I remember seeing one crawling up the wall 😬 My mom told me she’d come into my room one night and there was a mouse on my pillow when I was fast asleep 😱😱 Don’t even start me on the subject of the rain beetles coming down the chimney of the fireplace in my room one night (same house). That was worse than the mouse, there were so many of them!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Oh.my.days. @Sun_Addict
Beetles pouring out of the fireplace definitely beats a mouse, though one sharing your pillow is a close run. Though if it was also asleep that's actually very sweet. As long as it happened to someone else 😁
My overall experience with selling online has been really positive and the flat pot is definitely so much better off because of it, just having a little unfortunate streak of experiencing the worser aspects of it.
I won't be using ebay again unless I really have to as they seem deliberately skewed towards doing over the seller, and their site for both listing and withdrawing money is horribly unintuitive.
Vinted is usually a really nice community of people. Eejits are gonna be everywhere but I'm trying not to let recent events put me off making money and being part of a more sustainable economy. And I really appreciate their uploading process, and that's me as a massive technophobe saying its good!1 -
Was out for a friend's birthday drinks yesterday, happily local and with camra discount. Found 2p.
I must must must get this enormous pile of build admin done today.2
