Our local coops are for some reason flogging loads of beers for super cheap prices so worth checking out if you have one near youhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Local Coops and cheap beers …? Any chance they are the little glass bottle beers that you get in Europe? Mr KK is rather partial to them … 🤔

I recall being very dehydrated when I did my invigilating stint too. It was okay for those in the main halls but doing 1:1 was difficult! You’re doing a brilliant job there.Tilly Tidying andPADing in 2024 £250.62

Oh I'm not sure @KajiKita as we've been getting the ale type beers, maybe you could convince him to like those instead- for 62p a pint I think it stands a good chance 😁
Cheers @Sallyforth, I do keep thinking mid afternoon I need an extra lunch then realising I'm just thirsty having drank about a quarter of my usual water intake!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Glad to read your invigilating was ok today and your shoulder held up.
Likewise on water intake. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @doingitanyway, I do get really worried about me letting myself and more importantly others down so always a big relief to get through things okay. Shoulder is still tender so just need to get through the double shift tomorrow then I'm done for the week and half term 💪

Busy day, @PennysIntoPounds. And deserving of a pint x2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (5/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg0 -
I found it really odd half term came just after the exams got into full swing. My 1:1 pupil was happy to tell me how he was going wild water swimming and some kind of bike stuff and all boring old me could think was “shouldn’t you be revising”!Tilly Tidying andPADing in 2024 £250.62
