Does anyone bulk buy half decent coffee online? Seriously cannot be doing with the price hikes every week

We don't bulk-buy coffee but I hear you on the price rises. Over the years, Mr F has got ground coffee purchases at Waitbl00m down to a fine art & he says not only are prices rising, but there is shrinkflation in the mix too, with several of the quality coffees we've bought in the past now being 200g bags instead of the old, more usual 227g. When there's a good coffee offer, the shelves are often already stripped bare. The own label Waitbl00m Essentials ground coffee has just gone up by 15p to £3, but I think the bags are still 227g.
Just something to bear in mind for foodie treasure hunting late December, as I know you like a bargain. We bought a bag of their Christmas blend ground coffee (just a really nice coffee, not one of those with festive flavours added). Can't recall the price, but we enjoyed it. Due to its yuletidey packaging, it was yellow-stickered immediately after Christmas & we bought 4 bags for, if I remember correctly, £1.50 each. I mean, PiP, who is bothered about there being a holly leaf or star or whatever on a coffee bag after the festivities, when it's often tipped straight into a tin at home anyway? Wish we'd bought more now. Didn't want to be greedy, but if the state of the coffee section when there's an offer on is anything to go by, everyone else just goes with their inner gannet! Anyway, a long while off, I know, but may be worth a look at the appropriate time. We will certainly be looking!

@foxgloves I always get the marksies festive coffee. Like you I had a few, but would have been happy with multiple bags. I find Mr L single estate very good at just under £3 last time I looked...
@PennysIntoPounds happy birthday your mum.
Dinner is left over pastry sheet?? What's in it?If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @foxgloves, I shall prepare my inner gannet!
Aw thank you @doingitanyway. Pastry sheet has a tomato puree base, mixed veg on top, and cheese grated on top. It is yum, good hot or cold, and an excellent way of using up veg or getting some extra portions in1 -
Mr LH only drinks the best known brand instant coffee and I used to always be able to find it at £5 for a big jar but havent been able to get any on offer for some time now. It is certainly getting more expensive.1

Aw thank you @Sun_Addict. Her main gift is a nice bedding set so I hope it fits 😂🤞 But if it doesn't then I will use my invigilator pay to buy one that does
Feeling a bit down atm, dreamt last night about my departed friend of MND, and my dad, and spent the night in the most devastating aching of missing them.
There's been far too much death, and unnecessary housing worries in the last few years, and what with current life and finance anxieties, as well as starting a new job this coming week, and being worried about how my body will cope with that, I suppose it's natural for my mind to take the opportunity to get some more grieving for everyone and everything in.
But no bad vibes on a Sunday! I have a pleasant home in a pleasant area, no-one has any overly dramatic health issues, I have happy and safe relationships, a full tummy and a glass of red wine.
Hope everyone else has Sunday blessings to count too x3 -
I’m sorry you have had a sad night and have felt a bit low as a consequence. It’s understandable. You’ve been battling on with the build stuff a lot lately which is stressful and wearing. You are just a bit worn down I think. Be kind to yourself for a bit? Sending hugs x
