foxgloves said:I hear @KajiKita on the tediosity of putting away the heated airer. Once the dry laundry has been taken off it, it's a matter of under a minute for me to unplug it, fold it up & slide it all of 2 metres to its designated space in the utility cupboard. Yet this is accompanied by huffing & puffing in weary resentment utterly disproportionate to the task!

I does clear sooo much foot print when it’s away though … 🤷♀️😊

Was thinking of the idea of smashing March and of all I have to do and instantly felt overwhelmed and then realised I could use it to focus on getting my health back, after all, I've made a start, I have a plan from the holistic doctor and I've started to meditate (well did 10 mins yesterday) again.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Solid idea @Watty1, I realised I spend too much time feeling overwhelmed by the never ending lists so if I can just focus on doing one big thing, or a few little extra things a day that have been lingering then it'll make a bit dent. Using the next couple of weeks to focus on 'what is one thing a day that is good for my wellbeing' sounds like it'll set you up well for being available to yourself to enjoy spring 🩷1

I'm turning up in your living room without calling ahead to see if you are available to receive me. I hope that is ok.
The boring lingering thing I did was send off my voting registration form. It seems small, but because I wasn't on any electoral register and was all over the place I didn't 'exist' for a bit so my insurance was much, much, higher than it should have been.
@Watty1 I am impressed by your meditation
@PennysIntoPounds thank you for the fab idea and for letting us all use your living room

@doingitanyway - lots of us turn up at PIP's without calling ahead 🥳. Last week a mouse arrived unannounced mid way through yoga 🐁. Just to clarify it was PIP doing yoga not the mouse!3

Always a pleasure to see you @doingitanyway!
Well done getting that sorted, that is A Very Useful Thing to have got done indeed.
Everyone is most welcome to post their March wins here but in case anyone missed it, there is also now a dedicated thread

@Blackcats tbf I didn't see it after it left the room so it may well have been there to partake in the session. I will keep my eye out for a teeny yoga mat about the flat2 -

Walk and beer with Mr PIP, build update is apparently our surveyor who we already thought was f*cking useless has excelled himself and there are seven extra conditions that need to be met that we thought had been met, before we can start building, which isn't going to happen before the permission runs out just based on council getting back to us on the two conditions we thought were the only ones outstanding, let alone the surprise seven conditions that we thought we'd been f*cking paying him to deal with but turns out he was challenging the council about them rather than f*cking doing them
Dinner is freezer pizza. I think I am being extremely zen by it not being a triple whisky.

If this all goes tits up I would be thinking about sueing. I do wonder how some seem to manage to be so incompetent & still have a job. Absolutely seething on your behalf. I will be having the whisky to save you the trouble.3
