Looks really interesting but I have zero ability with puzzles. I'm pretty good at the first line of famous books type of thing but the second things get cryptic I'm lost.Looking forward to your feedback. That book sounds fascinating. How are you going to start. Seeing if you can work out the order of the pages or something else.0

What an interesting book! Is it one of those where the winner finds the golden egg or whatever it is?2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (29/100)

I fully relate to your mum @dawnybabes 😂
Ooh wine and snacks @redofromstart, I'm taking it seriously now *starts working out appropriate book-reading outfit*
Don't know @badmemory, I think I will save it for a rainy weekend when I'm in the mood and turn the living room into a mess, crime scene investigation style, will have to be just after family friends have stayed so I don't need to tidy up the many deranged scribblings on various bits of paper that CANNOT be moved 😁
@foxgloves As it says only three puzzlers have ever solved it, I think the prize is smugness and retaining some sanity. But as the council have worn most of my sanity away trying to do this build, I'd rather spend the remaining dregs of mine trying and failing something intriguing!2 -
I'm thinking a velvet smoking jacket or a deer stalker hat.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Looking at the picture on the back of the book, that’s how most people end up after reading it - laid on the floor surrounded by empty wine bottles 🤣 Good luck with that one 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I'm still honing my Cluedo skills so I'm very unlikely to be the next person to solve the mystery 😵💫1

Oh I am tempted.0

Definitely @redofromstart, with pipe at the ready. Godamnit one day I *will* have a plush library too!
Was already assuming I'd be laying on the carpet for the demented scribblings @Sun_Addict so a short journey 😂
Ah but it's always the person you least expect @Blackcats...
If it's not going to negatively impact your essentials budget then why not @badmemory. Or you could stick it on your birthday or Christmas list. It's at least a few hours entertainment and a bit of mental exercise, as well as a good conversation starter, and you can't say fairer than that for the price of a book
