Thanks @beanielou. As is my wont I have divvied them up into various vases/jugs/pretty cups so that whichever room I go into there's something extra nicehttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

I love having enough flowers to do that, I wish there was a similar scheme here.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Enjoy your flowers - so thoughtful of Mr PIP. Sadly I can no longer enjoy cut flowers due to a complete hooligan of a cat who destroys them within seconds!Tilly Tidying andPADing in 2024 £250.62

I wish there was more of it about too @redofromstart, this is an independent trader with a tiny backstreet café/deli and I think he just put two and two together and made it happen!
Thanks @Sallyforth, we don't really 'do' valentines but I did mention that a small bunch of flowers would be acceptable as long as they were from this place 😁
Our main valentines activity is seeing if the vastly overpriced chocolate decorated like a tarts boudoir is massively reduced at the weekend 😂
Oh dear Hooligan Cat! Still, probably best in case there are ever lilies lurking which are toxic to cats, Hooligan Cat probably knows this and is making disapproval known to the flower communityhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Little walk with Mr PIP for a 'valentines pint' which bears a very strong resemblance to our usual walk and pint 😁
Dinner will be cheesy potatoes with baked tomatoes

Love the sound of the flowers! I have a small bunch of stocks on the dining room table which are a joy to see.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
What a lovely idea with the flowers, well worth supporting.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

The flowers sound lovely. What a great idea from your local shop.
cheesy potatoes sound nice. One of the first things we learned to cook in Domestic Science was cheese and potato pie (mashed potatoes with lots of cheese, no sign of pastry or any other pie type ingredient). Proper scrummy comfort food!1 -
