Absolutely on all those points @Watty1!
What are you inclining towards do you reckon?
  • The rest of today:

    Admin
    Tidying
    Lots of tea drinking

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 2k but I am partial to a pair of loafers too..

    Receipt surveys
    A third wussy situps
    Comping

Might have accidentally got into bed and had a nap

    15 minute carpet walk

    Lots of packing and dusting

30 minute walk getting a Lidl pizza for dinner (well done to us for resisting take-away) and having beer with mates in a reasonably priced local

Hopefully up brightish and earlyish tomorrow for more packing and cleaning (sorry back and joints) before going back over to North, but we're both knackered so if a big sleep is required then so be it. Everything will get moved and if it's less clean and more higgledypiggledy than we'd like then that can just be sorted out at the other end next week

    love it

Only five minutes walk to postbox today as Mr PIP drove me and the plants over to North, and I had quite enough exercise running up and down lots of stairs with heavy pots as quickly as possible so he didn't get a parking ticket!

All the unpacking and more admin
    Few surveys

Exhausted, going to crash on the sofa with an inherited beer. Mum has volunteered to make cauliflower cheese for dinner and I am extremely grateful!

    Hello again,
Been reading along and loving it. 🥰
Exciting days ahead for you Pip.
Just wondering what inherited beer you are imbibing? I’m currently imbibing a rather delightful Belgian St Idesbald. A lovely little town on the Belgian coast with an equally delightful brew.
Enjoy the sofa, cauliflower cheese and biscuits. Maybe not on the same plate.

It's the Ready Steady Cook episode we've all been waiting for @Slowdown 😁 Lovely to see you, how are you?
That beer sounds delightful indeed, the inherited beers are Proper Job so not quite as fancy as yours but a dependable beer and I'm very pleased to have been given them- saved me a good few quid, and it's nice to raise a glass and feel connected to the deceased family friend who they came from.

Mr PIP in sorting and packing came across a 12 pack of various Brewdog beers he got for Christmas! I had a few while I was there but we brought the rest over with the plants today as that'll help the beer allocation we promised to our friends who are coming over on Sat to help shift my stuff. Also promised takeaway pizza but that's budgeted for (and for an extra quid we can enter their charity raffle to win pizza for a year which sounds like a good investment to me)

    Exciting progress on moving.
We are all very irritated with the council on your behalf.  They'd better get themselves sorted pdq or we will upgrade our status from very irritated to very cross.
