Important questions and an excellent list @redofromstart They are screwtop and red, and the fridge is functioning and has a bottle of my winning cava in already. Will add immediately accessible glasses and wipes to the Take list. Biscuits, painkillers, instant coffee, lined bin all in place, mum has gifted me a whole big pack of plush loo roll as a housewarming gift 😁 Should have enough wine and beer for helpers but someone can do a shop pop if necessary

Already done half wussy situps @kajikita but I agree I'm rather pushing myself. I'm just so behind on steps this month and I vowed I wouldn't be! But yes, nothing awful is going to happen if I have a few longer walks in June. Thanks for the check

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 1k but the rose themed bundle from National Trust would be lovely too

Put immediate need food bits in the new flat kitchen. They've left coffee, phew. Moved all the plants we took over yesterday back out of that room so we can get work desk straight into place. And had to take all family friends plants out of there too! I think they thought they were being considerate but having retired forgot that our priority needs to be somewhere to work so we can pay the rent

Then packed necessities bag for tomorrow night and took that round. Will take toiletries and change of clothes tomorrow morning. Very pleased with myself for remembering to take chunky doorstop

(Edited to change to doorstop. I am not taking a doorstep with us)

Since I was out, ten minute walk. Leg still sore but has eased a fair bit thank goodness

    Some of this spec job

    Half wussy situps

A fair bit of admin list

    Still on today's list:

Update and print the LPA forms- though might come round and print them Saturday morning as I've given myself the fear I'll c*ck it up
More work on spec work project that needs to be sent this evening
    (Preferably lots) more steps
    More admin
    Packing
    Comping

I think sit-ups should now be officially banned until well after the move. You will be getting plenty of exercise dealing with all of that.

Very true @foxgloves but I'll also be eating A LOT of biscuits and pizza 😁

Have done a 15 minute carpet walk and updated addresses on LPAs. Have transferred a lot of the to-do list to future days which counts as doing admin in my book.
Too tired to think about extra packing now, will have to make do with a bodge job, which won't make a huge amount of difference to the chaos anyway!
So left for this evening is more spec work and more carpet walks and comping if I can be bothered

Just keep saying it will all be worth it in the end, drink plenty of coffee and wine and eat pizza 🙂
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • And I forgot about loo roll. Will ask mum if I can buy some off her if she has enough
    Also found a penny.

As long as you don't have to spend a penny...

    Sound advice @Sun_Addict!

I knew one of you would make that joke @WelshmansDaughter 😂

    20 minute carpet walk
    Finished and sent spec work
And that is my lot for the day unless I magically muster more energy.
Big couple of days coming up (then a mega couple of weeks trying to get on top of everything) so hopefully will smash it!

Add a toothbrush and toothpaste to the immediately accessible list.  After all the wine and biscuits it might be helpful

Oh how did I get so sensible ...ignore me ..add more wine!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
