Between him and unicorn lady, my street blessings are truly abundant @Sun_Addict 😂
You could ask your rogue neighbour to take his top off next time you see him @ladyholly, it'll wrong-foot him at least 😁
Strong back of the bus vibes @foxgloves but at least he was intimidatingly pleasant!

No post yesterday as was feeling a bit down about everything. Just have to keep going and hope for things to come good. But today I'm allowing myself a bit of a rest day. Can feel my joints going extra weird which never helps with mood.
MSE highlight yesterday was getting a couple of loaves of bread from Olio. MSE lowlight was spending extra money on beer because a woman in the pub was getting a call to accept an offer on her flat and pathetically I wanted to be in the presence of property action actually occurring. Was very pleased for her and gave her support but did leave me feeling a bit like other people get to have crises about accepting hundreds of thousands of pounds and we can't even get an email from the council.
Ah well. A books and biscuits day needed and then we go again

After doing essential admin and tidying, went back to bed, started Roddy Doyle's Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, and got up when I'd finished it. Apart from a small break to make a jam sandwich, because apparently I've turned into a five year old, or a small bear.
Turned on the TV to wait for the general election announcement then realised I was just staring at a doorway in the drizzle.4 -
General election announcement finally watched. I will miss heckling politicians on telly with my mum.
(Of course, people with all political preferences welcome on my diary as long as they're not cruel, but heckling politicians on the telly is one of the small pleasures of life 😁)
That's the 4th of July in the diary then. Hope electoral roll doesn't c*ck up again3 -
Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit wibbly. Glad you are being kind to yourself and resting a bit. What happened with the electoral roll? I must have missed this ….? 🤔

@KajiKita I asked them to update my address when I moved in here and they said I didn't need to do anything else as my constituency was the same but unbeknownst to me until I received a polling card to the previous address, they hadn't done anything else either so I'm hoping it hasn't made my credit rating even worse than it must already be if all my official info doesn't tally for a year. Still, feels like we'll never have our own home so at least it probably won't matter 😂😭😂1

The comedienne Jane Godley did a fun little voiceover of the election announcement on Instagram 😁
