Tidying
Comping
Quarter wussy situps, back aching
Got paid for client job, share to tax pot
Laundry
Had 53.78 left from mum birthday pot so sent 3.78 to flat pot and 50 to LISA pot
Shower and hairwash
Salvaged a hairbrush mum was going to throw out. It's still got half the bristles left! 😂
Bit of spec work
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning some cash but a year's supply of coffee would also save us a few quid
15 minute carpet walk reading glossy found magazine
15 minute walk dropping off post
20 minute walk going to the pub, because I wanted to. Have noticed I've been more grumpy (even by my standards!) and less motivated lately.
Might be hormonal phase, might be chronic pain condition affecting mood, might be feeling overwhelmed with move and lack of build progress. Probably a combination. But if it's covered by monthly/weekly budget then I'm okay with choosing to have some chill nice time and change of scenery
Dinner is using up the leftovers from mum's birthday meal, damn right we asked for doggy bags 😁

I’m glad you got out to the pub. The fresh air and daylight will have done you as much good as the change of scene 😊

PS - what’s “spec work” …? 🤔
So far I have ‘specification’, ‘spectacles’, ‘speculative’ …. 😉

Ha 'spectacular' would be nice @WinterWarrior but yes it's 'speculative' @KajiKita. Would be better to be doing paid work but the possibility of a few pounds is better than nothing2

I find myself fascinated by what it is that you do for a living …. 😊
Oh, and I have decided, firmly, hands on hiply, that we are all Spectacular 🤩😉😊

Freelance copywriting/editing/making dreary or complex info more accessible @KajiKita. General meddling 😁
And surprising since in my own writing I don't half go on, in a tortuously convoluted manner 😂
Most pleased to be part of your Spectacular Gang along with @WinterWarrior3 -
Ah, you must be one of the ‘resources’ that enables organisations to win the clear English awards? 😊
Maybe having to be constrained and elegant in written text for work, means you want to let rip and have a bit more fun with language here? It’s certainly true of me! 😉

I think I'm just a natural blatherer in thought and speech @KajiKita 😂 It certainly is nice to have one's own diary space where you can write in your own voice, and if I'm not someone's cup of tea then fair enough! I love 'hearing' all the different voices on these diaries and how people express things2
