Speaking of 'might as well have a moan' M&S have sent me a £5 gift card! I wasn't in fact (on this occasion 😁) even being stroppy, just asking what the process was for getting refund since it came off a gift card. That can go towards mothers day wine
20 minute walk getting (cheaper) bits from Aldi
Tried to fix an issue on mum's laptop as she's not getting background sound on iPlayer etc.
Couldn't sort it which was very frustrating as I'm sure I've done it before but nothing worked and searching online was no help whatsoever. Any ideas anyone?!
Cleaned the bathroom. A bit. Back and wrists screaming so packed that in fairly swiftly
Wrote a letter to my penpal, with wrist rests
Resisted pub
15 minute carpet walk reading book for ziffit pile
Leftover lasagne for dinner. And salad leaves that need using up. And a glass of (cheaper) red wine. Happy Mondays y'all 🍷
What is this emoji? Is it a Wotsit on a landline phone? I really hope it's a Wotsit on a landline phone 🍤
2 -
It's either a wotsit on a landline phone (or a wetsuit according to autocorrect) or a shrimp with a skirt.
I wondered who it was who inspired me to make lasagne, thanks for the thought. Lovely and leftovers for the freezer.0 -
That emoji looks like a de-headed, lightly battered king prawn to me! 🤷♀️😂 (I zoomed in, I know, I know, I’m sad!! 😂😂😂)
Please do continue moaning - those are some of your most amusing and creative posts! 😉 Besides, how can we support you if we don’t know what’s bugging you? 😊🤷♀️

That emoji looks like a mermaid foetus 🤣 Where on earth did you come across that 🤣
Glad to read you’re finally getting back to feeling more normal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
I think the emoji looks like a wotsit giving birth - sorry
i have a jumper that makes me feel like I'm in Wham's Last Christmas video. If I had been in that video in my nice jumper I would have helped poor George get over his sadness from the previous festive season.1 -

Spotted it when scrolling for the wine emoji @Sun_Addict and thought 'is that a Wotsit on a landline phone?', as you do
I don't know how you've managed to make such an innocent sentence sound so loaded with potential filth @Blackcats but kudos 😂
It does sound like a fabulous jumper
Cashmere seems far too fancy for me @beanielou, I'd love to be a cashmere person but it would last one wear max before it was thoroughly ruined by catching on something/spilling something/bunging it in the washing machine on a standard wash with everything else
Maybe one day I'll be a cashmere person, but I also keep thinking that one day I'll be the sort of woman who doesn't try to get the pictures of leaves on leaves packaging out of the packaging thinking they're leaves, and that day does not appear to be occurring any time soon2 -
PennysIntoPounds said: My motto is basically 'might as well have a moan' @EssexHebridean 😁 Go on, it'll take you 30 seconds to tweex
Thanks for your kind reassurance, and I love that it sounds like you went to the effort of getting a mortgage just so you could change MSE boards 😂
It won't take 30 seconds though will it - the original tweet will, but then they will want more information, probably by DM because they won't want to run the risk of any shame being levelled their way in public, and then they will end up after much backing and forthing grudgingly giving me the 25 CC points while simultaneously making me feel like a bad human for asking. Nope - not playing - if they don't want my opinions they can keep their points!
I was almost looking forward to having a mortgage again so I had the challenge of paying it off...which really sounds quite tragic, I'm well aware!
Definitely not a cashmere person here, but again, like the idea of it. I managed to get biro on my fleece yesterday - so that's all you need to know about the viability of my ever wearing anything cashmere! As for the leaves - this was me as recently as yesterday with a bag of Lil's bistro salad (not as posh as it sounds!).🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

My most worn cashmere is dark grey for that reason!
