You met the deadline for transfer requests.

So unless you've been grossly negligent or broken some other rules, I would challenge that decision.

I have had a three figure compensation payment from NatWest group in the past for a matter that didnt even have a financial disadvantage to me, as this will for you if you have to accept a lower rate elsewhere.

There seems to be an increasing number of cases where NW are sending out letters after the 14th August deadline telling people to re-submit  but then rejecting the re-submissions out of hand on the grounds that it is after the 14 August!

I've already put the money in an 18 month fixed from Skipton. At least that was instant!
