After two weeks I got a letter in the post saying the details didn't match so I tried resubmitting the online transfer request form with my account number as the reference and an account number and sort code I find on Skipton's website for ISA transfers. Heard nothing since. I guess it'll time out and the new account will close?
sort code - 207891
account no, - 70798924
Roll number - YOUR Skipton ISA account number
My first transfer didn't go through as I missed out some of the numbers, but 2 others went through within days..
It's frustrating because they have taken so long to notify you. I have never officially heard that my first transfer failed...it just didn't happen.

Does anyone know if we can fund the Nat West isa after the 1st Sept?If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0 -

Fixed Rate ISA | ISA Rates | NatWest

I tried phoning NatWest the other day and it was impossible to get through.
On line chat is pointless.

FWIW I was told by CS that 1st Sept is the cutoff for new money but as long as transfer requests were made by the 14th August they can still transfer in at any time. The lady I spoke to sounded like she knew her stuff and sited an example of S&S ISA transfers often taking a lot longer to transfer.
That said I have not been impressed with Natwest, so it could all be BS.1 -
Got a letter today saying they won't be doing my transfer as it's past the deadline and the account will be closed. I've been trying to get it working since the beginning of August. Oh well. Anywhere else I can move my money to instead?0

As the HSBC ISA only had £450 in it, I fear NatWest might close the new ISA after tomorrow as it won’t meet the minimum £1000 threshold.
I saw another thread saying that Virgin Money accounts like mine should specify Yorkshire Bank on the transfer form and not Virgin Money. Wish I’d seen that earlier but too late now🙁0 -

Natwest could have sent me a secure message on the app and it could have been easily fixed. But no, they sent me a letter and a manual transfer form to complete, with a 2nd class freepost envelope! Even 1st class would have missed the deadline though, but I thought they might let me off as I did start the process sooner.
Maybe Charter fixed for a year at 5.77%, not bad.0 -
I'm trying to transfer funds and it's not letting me add anything to my ISA despite tomorrow being the deadline day and the start date not happening until 4th Sept. I just get "transfers not allowed" or similar when I try. Do I need to maybe do it as a payment to the account rather than a transfer from another natwest account?0

Ah hold on, it appears I have to make a payment for it to work rather than a transfer. Well that's clear as mud.

Tried to call Natwest and after 1 hour wait, I gave up!
