Rejection of Re-submitted NW/RBS Transfer-In Requests.

As I mentioned in another thread, there seems to be an increasing number of cases where NW group are sending out letters after the 14th August deadline telling people to re-submit but then rejecting the re-submissions out of hand on the grounds that it is after the 14 August!
Worried that this may happen to me, I called the ISA team earlier today. It seems that their system is grouping re-submissions with new submissions and rejecting them all on the grounds that they have been received after the 14th.
The agent confirmed that my re-submissions had been rejected and a letter had been sent. But he agreed that this was a ridiculous situation and re-instated the re-submissions there and then.
So, if you’ve received a rejection letter or have re-submitted, I suggest you call them (0345 246 4528) urgently to get it re-instated.
BUT, good luck getting through! I gave up after 4 1-hr+ attempts last week (complete with the most depressing muzak you’ve ever heard and a voice every 15 secs (!) saying “sorry for the delay blah, blah…”). I called at exactly 9.00am this morning, though, and got through in 30secs.

Yes I did exactly the same this morning, rang at 9am, it rang straight away, explained that it wasn't a new request to transfer, she went away for a while came back said something about re sending it, it was difficult to understand her in broken english and me being partly deaf, but it seems it is being re requested and should email me when it is done..hopefully..0

Same story here with ISA transfers from Virgin money to Natwest and Rbs, same rejection letters as well, I hope Martin can mention this debacle on tv.0

Well yesterday 7th September my ISA left Virgin Money on it's way to Nat West which was requested 10th August, so almost a month to get this far.I expected it to be in my Nat West account today but no, nothing showing...When I look at Virgin Money it shows the ISA amount as spent.. with BRANCH in capital letters? Then in the detail it shows Transaction Type: Transfer.Does this mean the money will be transferred by cheque from a branch or does a branch have to do an electronic transfer, all a bit odd, anyone had similar with their transfers? Also posted on original thread.

I don't really know as both myself and partner as in same situation with transfers from VM to Natwest and RBS. Though we initially filled in the online forms correctly, they told us we we didn't as we ticked to wait out notice period, where we are 100% certain we ticked for an immediate transfer with penalty (all forms were double checked before online submission)
Got the usual rejections letters from Natwest and RBS with instructions to re-submit either online or by post.
We re-submitted by post on 22 August only to receive more rejection letters saying that it was after cut off date of 14 august.
We rang and were told that the transfers would be re-submitted to be actioned on.
That was on monday 3 Sept, so far no transfers have gone through from VM to either Natwest or RBS.
What a shambles!!0 -

What a shambles!!They told me (and others on here) the same and in my case at least. it's incorrect. I have time-stamped sceenshots showing that I ticked the box.As a matter of course, I always screenshot every page of any account application.
