Round, Valli and pigpen, you put me to shame.
Rosie woke me up at 5.00 this morning, crying to go out. I let her into the garden, made myself a cuppa, took it back to bed and dozed a bit until 6.30, at which point I got up and wrote 2 emails, ordered my meds, and printed out some labels for home-cooked vegan cakes. After church I called on an elderly friend who I haven't seen for almost a year. Lunch was a salad, then DH went out to play wargames and I hunted through my computer files for something (or references to that something) that the new Treasurer appears to have lost - but with very little success. Another friend rang and we booked a trip to the nice independent GC for coffee on 15th. Then I fell asleep for an hour and a half. Once the rain had stopped I took Rosie out for the prescribed *brisk* walk (both of us were shattered after nearly 2 miles up- and downhill in 40 minutes), and finally I cooked tea. DH's contribution to the household has been to make breakfast and two cups of coffee, and WULTD the few things that can't go in the DW.
On Wednesday we're meeting up with friends from Peterborough (the husband uses a wheelchair), so I need to phone some pubs, to find a suitable place to meet up where Rosie is also welcome: we can't leave her at home and it's not fair to leave her crated in the car after a long journey.

I had the best intentions (as always) and was derailed by planning a short break for me and DS2. All booked now, and I've also got further with a couple of other things, so I'm now ready to focus on the house again tomorrow. Today I decluttered part of the living room and hoovered. Also sorted my tea cupboard and threw out some empty boxes. It's just a couple of dots, but at least I've made some progress.8
