Pots that were soaking have been WUDUPA.
I've also WUDU the fruit bowl, and attacked my sink with a concoction of bicarb and washing up liquid to scrub off the tea stains. Plus cleaned around and between the taps...which are now wearing vinegar soaked tissues around their nozzles in the hope that will dislodge the limescale.
It's not perfect but it's better than it was. 😊

And finally I have sat down again (other than to eat dinner).
Had made a good start on the kitchen this morning then DD wanted me to go into town. She then got in a strop as I used the opportunity to get bits and pieces that I needed so dragged her round a few of the cheapy shops.
Have scrubbed the kitchen and dining room, emptied and cleared out cupboards of old baking stuff, made and cleared away dinner, then had to clean the kitchen after dinner and again after DD made her lunches and breakfasts for the week. She would have just left it all to dry.
I have done 18,500 steps today, I'm done for and DD just ended up screaming at me for picking holes in her desk set up after I bought a new ergonomic chair for when she is working from home. She had been complaining for weeks that she has a bad back. As a trained DSE assessor I know exactly how her desk should be set up but she doesn't like it like that, she likes it her way. Well good luck with that then in a few weeks when you still have back ache.
Just a few finance bits to do while I sup my cuppa then I am hitting the sack.

I hoovered and mopped the kitchen floor before I went out
I did OK in my assessment and now only have to attend Action Heart twice a week for the next 6 months (or 3 times if I want to, but I don't!)
I remembered to go for my blood test and was in and out of the horse piddle so quickly that I didn't have to pay for parking
Tomorrow I have to drive K to Bristol and back. She is driving me to distraction, probably because her two girls are already driving her to distraction
See you when I get back xxx

Desk sorted, accounts up to date, notes made for things that need to be considered over the next few days, train times sorted out for tomorrow's walk, kitchen sink degrotted, dog gentled through the day after last night's incidents and that seems to have worked, thank goodness. New listie written for things I need to do tomorrow.Dusting did not get done. Hey ho. A bit of dust never killed anyone and there is so much to do that is just more interesting. Will stick my Flylady Dunce Cap back on and stand in the corner for a bit.Better is good enough.7

Working from home again today, as most days. Didn't start quite a early as I'd planned and had to nip out to collect my neighbour's medication, so I didn't finish until quarter past four. Walked the dog, checked in on my neighbour, crunched a frog (well, went into the cellar for the meter readings ), submitted meter readings, emptied and re-stacked the DW, fed the furries, made tea, spent 45 in the kitchen decluttering, cleaning the sink and washing a few bits. It doesn't look much better overall, but every little helps.
Then I headed out for a couple of food collections from supermarkets (I volunteer for our local community fridge) and was back home just after half past ten. Put food away and had a sandwich and some watermelon while catching up with Fred and typing. Any items with today's use by date which can't be frozen can be shared out amongst the volunteers, and anything left goes to goats, chickens, pigs and compost bins. We have sandwiches, soup, snacks and a salad in the fridge for tomorrow. Makes up for the petrol, definitely. I often come home with extras to pass on to DS1 and his wife, and a friend down the road.
Now I'm going to complete at least one Italian lesson on Duolingo before I head up to bed.
Thank you for welcoming me back. I know I haven't achieved much, but would most likely have done no flying if I hadn't joined in again.
Thank you for the tip with the sink, roundtuit. I used washing up liquid and baking powder and am so happy with the result. Well worth the effort.
Tomorrow I'm going to make 2 me-time appointments. One for a haircut and the other to have my eyebrows died. I really don't like that they're going grey, even though it's pure vanity. I may also have to call the energy company. There's a good chance that I'm due a significant amount of money back, but we'll see.
Hope you all had a great start to the week. I'll be back tomorrow night. Feels good to be back
