Oh my, Narco - you deserve that moonlight swim for sure. Hope the rest of your week is a bit less exciting! And I will think of you and your DD tomorrow, ASB.
Positives from today: Hairdresser and beautician booked (I resent grey eyebrows) and work was good. Used lunch to pop out and collect a brochure for external doors from a local company that was recommended to me. Contacted energy company as I appear to have overpaid - any refund may well go towards a new front door. Finding out about the overpayment was a direct result of braving the cellar yesterday to read the meters. Nice to be rewarded for my effort.Food including tea was bargainous (I will clear space in the freezer!). Dog walk after work, then fed everyone including myself.
And that's when things started to go less well. OH decided to stay in and watch telly, but didn't tell me, so I was waiting for him to head out. I completed a few lessons on Duolingo while I was waiting and then it was too late to start flying. Will pick myself up and dust myself down tomorrow. Working from DS1's house for the next two days to look after their pooch (Olive the very adorable Rottweiler) while he and his wife are at work, so any flying will be done when I get back.

I have had the same phone number since I first got a phone in 2000.. I don't get why people change their number every 2 minutes.. they never did stuff like that with a landline!Narco.. your life is getting like mine.
Spent an hour capturing a neighbours cat who has been missing since 27th June.. we did not get the cat trap in the end.. just ham.. One very tiny, very scared likely somewhat pregnant teeny cat reunited with a very grateful owner.. I have been cried on.. and hugged the kitty-mama so many times.. I am so glad to have her home safe..
Been to Tesc0.. for Twinkle milk and they even had GF cocopops in.. so I bought 5 boxes.. that should keep her going a while!
EC should get the keys for her house on Monday then she has to furnish it and her baby is due in 4 weeks. I have said she doesn't have to move unti lshe is ready and can stay as long as she needs.. at this point does another few weeks really matter?
DD2 has gone to audition for the next shwartzkopf hair dye tv ad..
To add to my drama I may have broken a rib coughing!!

No word from K so far today, but she's coming here tomorrow to set out a plan of action.
I have cleaned the bathroom, especially the shower mat which was gross.
DH and I are going shopping *together* [shudder] now. Wish me luck!

Whoops, I think that I forgot to check in for the week 😳. Thank you for the thread, as always. I have read along but seem able to retain very little. So, hugs to all, especially to Narc0 and ASB, and welcome back to all returners.
Stupid busy at work atm. That’s the trouble with working in the agricultural industry, I guess. I worked my day off so that I could swap to today and take DD to a hospital appointment. Work aren’t best pleased, she said that she is fine to go alone, I have prioritised, and will take the additional stress tomorrow.Working around the midday appointment, I plan aspire to:
wm x2 (1st load just finishing)
HHI
strip bedding
clean bathrooms
finish emptying the last kitchen cupboards.
Anything else is a bonus.
Wish me luck. Have a good day all x7 -
A good day for us, Mr Ns birthday. Mum got here safely yesterday to a fairly clean and tidy house.
Today we got a picnic together and went to an RHS flower show. Only bought 1 plant for his birthday. Had home grown beans - runner and French, kale and peas with dinner as Mr N wanted a home made roast rather than a meal out. Still picking tomatoes and cucumbers . Most flying was food related today! Make it, eat it, wash up.
R was told yesterday that they may operate today but today they cancelled it, very frustrating.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I have only been keeping on top of basics the last couple of days due to busy paid stuff. Will try harder around that today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6
