Ahhhh. That's somewhat better. It's amazing how helpful writing things down on lists can be 😊
I've also:
Sorted the washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Checked the weather forecast
Taken the empty laundry hamper back upstairs
Put new soap on stairs to go up
Emptied the kitchen bin
Fitted new bin bag
Put out the rest of the rubbish and recycling
Fed the birds
Next:
Take soap up
Bring down DB's birthday present
Bring down wrapping paper
Write DB's card & wrap present
Peg out first load
Set second load swishing

Today we need to deal with the shambles that is the front room.Hang out laundry.. after washing it a third time!empty all the bins and litter traysdo a speedy shuffle in my room to put the landing boxes into the wardrobe and clear a bit of floor there.Empty the car for MOT tomorrow and pray to the gods of automobiles it passes.package 1 item to postWrite holiday listdouble check bills are all up to dateStill trying to decide if the triple wardrobe is best in the middle room or if it needs to go elsewhere.. I am trying to figure out shelves/cupboards in the alcove on the landing.. it is likely going to be shelves which I will need to purchase.. and doors, to stop the cats sleeping on the clean towels and bedding!
I've had a text from a well know window company asking if my price was acceptable.. they didn't even turn up to do the quote!
I have also been approved for a credit card which I am going to chop up as soon as it arrives.. having available credit and not using it is good for the credit score.. so I am doing that..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
DH did not get up until after nine by which time I had finished my book.
I have washed breakfast dishes, had a daytime bath, walked Poppet and done dailies. I've promised to help with the catering for an event this afternoon and as it is now afternoon I need to get making sandwiches.
See you on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

Hi
Been a busy week in the Kaz household. The longer hours mean I don't have as much time for flying during the week but on Thursday I worked from home so had some spare time so stripped my bed and shoved in the WM. Ironed some of the bedlinen during my lunch break and then the rest while DD was cooking dinner. Afterwards I went up to remake the bed, turning a king-size was difficult on my own but I did it and hoovered my mattress. I then proceeded to move the bed and hoover underneath and then did the rest of the room. Doesn't feel like much progress but it is for me up there! Friday evening I did nothing. Yesterday I got up and did a big food/household shop in various places so took the car prior to DS, DDIL and DGS came round. The big kids went out shopping then for dinner and I looked after DGS who is 3. We had great fun, making tents out of the furniture and the throws, made cookies and ice cream, played games and read books so a real quality afternoon/evening. I was exhausted afterwards though.
Today I have walked down to Mr T to see if I can get a new phone case as I dropped mine face down and the screen stayed in tact but the case has shattered but they only had one and I wasn't going to pay £10 for something I don't like so will go into town tomorrow to see what I can pick up. Went on to Mr Al to pick up some bits for DD's high protein diet and while there the clouds burst so I had to wait until it has eased enough to walk home without a coat or umbrella. My usual cautious self having looked when I went out and thought I wouldn't need either.
I'm dry now and have had coffee and sorted the finances, although struggling to understand how on the 6th of the month I have very little of the food/household budget left again until payday on 25th!
This afternoon will be spent hoovering and tidying in the living rooms and cooking roast chicken dinner and the sun has finally come out, just not sure for how long.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -

I've also been into town to pick up my prescription, and gathered up my braves and put air in all 4 tyres using Mr T's compressed air machine. Inordinately proud of myself for finally getting round to it 😉 And not blowing myself up 😊
