Thetford Town Centre, Suffolk, free car park, no PPC, like going back in time with bustling shops and market stalls.
All Council car parks in Thetford and most car parks belonging to Breckland Council provide free all day parking:-

Hamilton Close, London NW8, near Lords Cricket ground, parking is opposite properties. One end of road has £80 PPC, other end doesn't, doesn't compute to me.
That Hamilton Close Residents Association sign is an idle threat.
According to Companies House, Everything Parking Ltd was dissolved in October 2022.
That makes it a good deterrent without the need of an infestation. It's known in the trade as "A cunning plan".

A sign maker could do a decent trade making fake signs for landowners. It would be a cheap solution for residential sites with non-enforceable threats such as a PCN and/or clamping for breaching Ts and Cs because the majority of motorists don't understand the law.

We've seen the following one before. £4.99 from eBay. A genuine fake!

With no clues of where that might be, that 'evidence' probably doesn't help the cause at all.

I found out that this pic is in Ipswich, but interestingly, if you took your photo recently, then that extra sign is new.

    Look at GSView, no sign:

In fact, it's never had a PPC infest it:

£70 PCN is considered sufficient deterrent even though Dyl Kurpil's firm reckon (based on this evidence) that the onerous parking charge can be in the smallest of font size:

    Can't even see the £70?

    Maybe that's the plan:

    UNREADABLE SIGNS = NO DETERRENT

NO CARMAGEDDON - NO CARS EVEN THIS WEEKEND IN FINE WEATHER.

    Parking information

"The Coulsdon Commons are a charity funded privately from investments by the City of London Corporation. Running these important sites that are part of London’s newest National Nature Reserve is expensive.

Every year, thousands of visitors come to the Coulsdon Commons..."

Errr... do they?! ...not by car any more.

    My contact remarked:

"Car park completely empty at 4 on a Saturday". "It's always pretty much empty".

    Shame.
    What could possibly cause this?

District Enforcement must be so proud.

I can't believe they charge for parking on those common areas where I wandered and biked freely as a child (many years ago).  There were certainly no cars then - I can understand setting aside some accessible parking but it would just put me off using the facility if I had to pay.

Any cases where the permitted parking time has been arbitrarily reduced should be included in response to,

Q1.4 What is the average cost of updating signage, and how often this is required?

because it means the parking operator is happy to absorb the cost of changing all their signs even when not needed, so should have no objection to the cost incurred from a mandatory requirement to change their signs due to the implementation of the new CoP.

Reducing parking time should also come under Q4, behavioural change.

Any cases where the change in parking time is at variance to the original planning consent order for the site should especially be included.

No PPC until about 4 years ago, according to Google StreetView.  So Britannia are quite new here.

£70 PCN is a sufficient deterrent...

NO CARMAGEDDON despite this being 5 minutes from the beach, a cinema, loads of restaurants and the main town centre shops.

    But...

...there's not a single t&c sign in the car park!

"See the SIGN near the store".

    Yes:

One sign.  Not in the car park.

    Not near the accessible bays.

ONE SIGN - and it introduces different t&cs.

    Unbelievable from Britannia.

How exactly did this pass a BPA Audit?!
