  • Are the Government asking for the public to respond?
Or is this for the various companies to provide information?

I want to add my voice after being harassed for a completely inappropriate parking charge.

Everyone involved is being asked to contribute; landowners, parking companies, motorists, businesses losing money due to the aggressive actions of parking companies that are driving customers away.

You can respond to any question. Even if a question is aimed at parking companies, debt collectors, or landowners, there is nothing stopping motorists from responding to them as well. Indeed, I would encourage everyone to do so.

I've sent about a dozen emails so far about all sorts of issues. For example,

Q 1.5, Cost of maintaining signs by a parking operator. None, accompanied by photos of damaged signs, or ones hidden by foliage.

Q 1.4, Cost of updating signs. A few pence, accompanied by photos of stickers on signs changing Ts and Cs.

Anything you can think of will help.

Now wouldn't that be interesting if some mischievous pranksters got together and went around altering the scammers signs with stickers. A bit like the ULEZ warriors and the camera!  :o
It would also be interesting if some of the existing stickers fell off to reveal what is underneath.

Thetford Town Centre, Suffolk, free car park, no PPC, like going back in time with bustling shops and market stalls.
  • Hamilton Close, London NW8, near Lords Cricket ground, parking is opposite properties. One end of road has £80 PPC, other end doesn't, doesn't compute to me.

That Hamilton Close Residents Association sign is an idle threat.
According to Companies House, Everything Parking Ltd was dissolved in October 2022.
That makes it a good deterrent without the need of an infestation. It's known in the trade as "A cunning plan".

A sign maker could do a decent trade making fake signs for landowners. It would be a cheap solution for residential sites with non-enforceable threats such as a PCN and/or clamping for breaching Ts and Cs because the majority of motorists don't understand the law.
