I think a defence that is a couple of paragraphs long (one page at most) is sufficient in the most straight forward of cases)
Think of it like sifting through a cv. Straight forward and to the point. Two much extra detail and they move on to the next candidate3 -

Just make sure that your WS + Exhibits bundle has been sent to the local court and to their lawyers ( or claimant if no lawyers were used. ) before the deadline imposed upon you by the court order you received, the order with the hearing date on it0 -

This is a major error if you have a hearing date but haven't done your WS bundle in time. The NEWBIES thread coaches everyone about what happens when, so it is disappointing to read that you are not prepared and have not read about this normal part of the process.0 -

I deleted my post as there was no intention to cause offence. I'm sorry if my encouragement of newbies to focus on the next thing was taken as patronising or being 'on your case'. We regulars are pedantic here but we want to help. It's why we come here.
I was genuinely concerned your case was in danger of going pear-shaped if you were not prepared for the next stage, having been signposted in May to read the relevant part IMPORTANT: 'Know what happens when' which covers WS and evidence stage.
I'm a lady BTW but let's get your defence of two claims back on track.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
