    Update:

I've now received back the acknowledgement of defence receipt in letter form from HM courts and tribunals service. A copy of this is also being served to the claimant so I'm told

    Update

I've now received a notice of intention to proceed from BW legal for both of the cases

A notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track has arrived for both of the cases. It comes with a form N180 attached which it states I must complete and also issue a copy to the other parties

And of course you remember that there is guidance in the opening post of the Template Defence thread on how to do that.  :)

I emailed the N180 to the CCB QA address which was obviously the wrong one.
    Yes indeed, that was wrong.
At the time you returned your DQ, the email address was CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk.

An Order dated 7 March 2024 is deemed served on 12 March 2024.

Seven days from the date of service therefore brings us to 19 March 2024 - i.e. next Tuesday.

It has been eerily quiet after resubmitting my defence to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

    I received the following confirmation:

Thank you for emailing the Directions Questionnaire Team in the Civil National Business Centre. Please expect a response to your enquiry in 10 days

When sending us documents please ensure you comply with the Practice Direction 5B

    https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part05/pd_part05b

Documents not complying will not be accepted, in particular if it is over 10MB or 25 printed pages in size.

I certainly haven't received a response within the 10 days

In other news on the 26th April I received more guff from BWlegal. It is a response to my defense with each PCN and photographic evidence attached inviting me to pay and withdraw my defence.

    Any advice on next steps?

Just preparation: read the NEWBIES thread section: IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.

And double check that MCOL has updated to show your DQ. If not, re-send it. Again!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
