Yes, the adjustment is shown as a debit in the maturity account. The same as in the screenshot in the post that follows yours.soulsaver said:@mrsplinter Is the adjustment actually shown as a £57 debit in the maturity (6 access or whatever) account?
Just wondering where to look to see if I'm getting the same.

This is what my Esaver showed! £1k now in ISA and the £4k+ in my bank account. £203.53 nowhere to be seen and the account has now disappeared from online banking.

Why are people not simply transferring or withdrawing their funds to a zero balance and then closing the account a day or two later?
That's what I'll be doing when mine matures.1 -
Wouldn't be suprise if u will have a minus balance
Just withdraw all but £1 , and close account in a month when issue is fixed2 -
Issue didn't affect me: Strangely the day before maturity date they credited the interest to the loyalty saver ac.
The 'available' funds were £10 less than the balance so I w/d all but the £10
Next day it had converted to the 6 access saver maturity account and I closed the account, effecting the final £10 withdrawal. No deductions are showing.2 -
The Interest for YBS Regular eSaver is calculated daily. It is an easy access saving if my memory serves well. TBH I have not scrutinised the TCs.So to prevent wasting your time on the phone call, on the maturity date just transfer most of the balance to the nominated account leaving only minimum the balance to keep the account alive ?Any info, critics, suggestion to optimise the return but with minimum effort will be very much appreciated.

No problem at all.I'll keep the £1 in the 6-access saver for the time being.2

I wonder if those experiencing problems are requesting closure before the a/c has officially matured into the six access ??
Interest is added 1/2 days before the account matures and that could be triggering people to close too early and putting their system into a spin ? Interest for another day then seems to be added again upon actual closure.
Personally, I didn't have any issues and received correct funds. I'd recommend checking the a/c name/new rate before enacting any closure regardless of the interest being added.
It does seem though that their process is not robust enough. Either way, it does look like that those with issues will eventually be better off than those without issues......if you play your cards right.

Definitely not in my case. My account had matured, changed name and had the interest added. I even waited an extra day to be sure before closing the account.Wheres_My_Cashback said:I wonder if those experiencing problems are requesting closure before the a/c has officially matured into the six access ??1
