Count me in for coffee 😊.
Utility room currently resembles more a kitchen than a dumping ground. Now if only I could keep it like it… Kitchen resembles a bomb d the tap has started dripping. It’s days are numbered, and it knows it. DH is getting the layers of wallpaper off the kitchen walls. Bathrooms have been scrubbed. DR vacuumed as I needed to drape the washing in there on the airer. DD’s bed remade - stripped it last night, making the most of her being away for the weekend.Pouring with rain here too. DH asked me if I was going to the allotment….shall I take bets on what sort of answer he got? 🤣
Ah well, Jazee, it was worth a try. If you run out of list, I am always happy to help…8 -
Second load now also draped on the airer.
LTD pots have been DUPA
It's still tipping down 🌧

Bossing OH to make a cuppa and he is doing pizza for the squids for dinner..
Pixie seems a bit happier today, Twinkle is being vile, arguing and screaming, I am not putting up with that for 6 weeks!! Dot is dotty and Squeak is ensconced in her room until 5th September lol (she thinks!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Back from work. Busy but very rewarding day. Pork in the oven, wine about to be poured.Big hugs to you all. I’d be really stuck without you. Someone told me yesterday‘I know it’s bad [about DD] but worse things do happen in the world’. There are no words for my rage…8

ASB .. that is so disrespectful.. People do not think before opening their stupid mouths.. It wasn't meant how it sounded I am sure no one would be that mean.. Little Miss has had her whole life shaken and turned over.. it is huge in all your lives.. you're not raising the world you are raising a little girl who is hurt and sad and struggling and frightened, and that is the worst thing in your world.. she is your world! (((hugs))) The people who live in your world will understand and show compassion and support and love.. I can't even bring myself to be civil to that type of person most of the time.. try 'come back and tell me that when it is your child going through this!' .. followed with a proper miss piggy flounce! I am mad right there with you
OH off to shop and apparently I need to go too.. we need pizza, cat biscuits and litter and I'm paying.

DD met me in town and had brought her car so kindly offered us a lift back and then shall we go to food shopping mum. She is worse than DH two shops and over £100 later seriously! Talk about shifting money round, I have no idea how I have spent so much this month. I normally budget £300 (plus DH picks up bits and pieces in the week) for 3 of us plus 1 small dog, and this month so far I am well over £500. Some serious meal planning needs to happen next month using up stuff from the freezer and cheaper meals. DD did plan the meals for July and has been a great help cooking but that amount extra is ridiculous. Fridge Tetris completed.
It has rained pretty much all afternoon here so is grey and miserable and DH has said we'll soon have to have the heating onI don't think so! This week is usually hot and sunny as I know DS hasn't had many wet birthdays. I need some sunshine.
DD should be on chef duty again tonight so will probably be a late one as she tends to not re0emerge from her room until around 7 and then takes about an hour to sort stuff so supping another cuppa to keep the stomach from clawing at my throat looking for food.
In the mean time my office come playroom is a mess so I will be tidying and rearranging cupboards in there.

Evening all. Special (((hugs))) to asb and pigpen xx xx
Can't remember when I last posted, but the week seemed to fly* past (not that I've done a great deal of *that), so suffice it to say that somehow I found enough strength to complete my full programme at Action Heart on Friday and have walked Rosie every day except when the dog walker takes her - even today, as we picked the perfect time between almost constant downpours, even if it meant that DH had to wait for his tea.
Also today I have cleaned out the FF in the utility and updated my inventory; chopped up and frozen a bag of peppers; emptied the kitchen compost bin; done WMx1, hung it in the bathroom all day, and now put it in the TD to dry off completely; found an old exercise book that I was looking for among the family papers; discovered the origin of the estimated 2% of my DNA that comes from Germany/The Netherlands (it turns out that my 5x great-grandmother was born in Westphalia); and got up to the raglan shaping on the sleeve of the baby pullover that I am knitting from my wool stash, which is destined for the baby bank.
I have to be up early in the morning to go and collect DGD1+2 at 8.00, so that DS1 can accompany DDiL1 to set up her stall at the Royal Welsh Show. I hope she's taking good waterproofs and her long johns with her! Must remember to set my alarm tonight.
The Handlebards look fun, Valli! Which play did they do?
Hope everyone's weekend improves as time goes on xxx6 -
Morning!
Have been up a couple of hours, cooked breakfast to use up the sausages and bacon that needed to be used. Sunk 2 mugs of tea to wash it down and fed doogie.
Nothing major planned for today so will get dressed then round up some washing then walk dog while it is still dry then carry on tidying in here which I didn't get very far with yesterday.
Have a good day

Morning all xx
Another soggy morning in Roundland 🤿
I was woken by music at 5.30am. I assumed it was an alarm going off next door and that they were getting up early to go on holiday. Eventually went back to sleep and slept in til 8.30....so I now have slept-in brain fog. AND my neighbours haven't gone anywhere. 🤔 I don't usually hear anything from them unless L is DIYing. So it's a mystery. I don't like mysteries!
Anyhoo. I'm up, made my bed, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. I'd better get dressed I suppose. If I could just stop yawning 🥱
Love to all

Morning all.
Dailies are done and I've walked Poppet in a light shower which I think is as good as it's going to get. I'm having a read a book morning, will be out to lunch with family later and DGD2 is sleeping over as usual tonight. Flying? That can wait till Tuesday.
