Morning all xxYesterday I was a bit more productive then I thought. The rain came on pretty heavy, both me and Mr L have aches and pains, and anywhere we would have liked to have had lunch at was closed, so shopping trip was cut short and home for lunchIs that a thing over there? Eating places other than the big chains not opening Monday and Tuesday? So annoying as Im doing SW and need to pick a place where they offer food thats not bread based nor hit the plate via the fryerStill got everything on the list for DGS's 2nd birthday plus got a huge amount from the chicken factory, 10kg of organic or free range chicken in various guises for £25Did my nails as they break if left naked, had removed the gel the previous nightTidied away everything from the living room that shouldn't have been there and vacuumed both upstairs bedrooms and living roomSpent 5 mins in the room of doomMr L has finally got around to collecting up all the bits of vacuums that have been stashed about the house and is working on them to get a complete working one for DD. Also taking the miele apart to see what can be done thereToday is downstairs bathroom, hall, lobby and stairs and downstairs spare room dayPlus about 3 loads of washingAway to walk Buddy, the fields were cut yesterday so we I can let him off lead today
Then coffee and then start

UTI screaming at me his morning.. it has been niggling for 5-6 days but it now tipped over to constant and painful.. docs rang... I just need drugs I don't need to speak to anyone.
I need to print the forms for DD1 and GF to register here.
The sk is leaking so we can't go to DD1's garden so we will get back into the girls room and OH has some window catches to add to that room, the bathroom, WC and 2 in the kitchen.. I need air flow without escapey cats. There have been 5 gone missing in these couple of streets in the last month so I'm taking no chances.
bag of rubbish out of my room, half a load of laundry and a bag of sale returns to package.
4 cats deflea'd .. we have to lure one in, wake one up and play sly to catch slinky Nutkin who legs it the second he smells the stuff.. he is sneaky!
I have sorted everyone mobile phone bills.. 2 are ending their phone payments so all 4 will be sim only.. which halves the monthly payment.
Girls at school.. hopefully Squeak gets home easier today.. all the rail crossing got stuck down yesterday so it took her nearly 3 hours to get home.. it is a 15 minute drive/45 minute bus journey normally. They had to get rail engineers from Leeds to come fix it ..
2 more packed lunches, 1 more school swimming lesson, 1 summer fair, one leavers assembly and 3 more pick ups... tick-tock tick-tock... I'm not wishing lives away, I am excited to turn off my alarms!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Anyone want a dog?Wee !!!!!!, for a pug he cant half move. The huge field behind me was cut last night and I thought Id let him off lead as a wee treat so he could chase the crows. The far side of the field there was a field of sheep. Now Ive walked that field hundreds of times and the gate is a good low one with close together rails, I thought we were safe
Nope, he gets in and spends the next 40 mins chasing sheep completely ignoring me !!!Spending the morning running around a field of sheep poo, lifting sheep that have fallen, not my idea of fun. If I was a good enough shot I would have shot him myself!!How he got in I dont know cos to get him out I had to drop him over, I couldn't get him squeezed throughHes now hiding in with mum, he knows all too well he is in the bad books !!No I wouldn't give him up or shoot him , just so ruddy cross, hot, sweaty and stressed right now8 -
Docs utterly useless.. I need to buy antibiotics online.. What kind of idiots would not give AB's for a UTI?? I am in so much pain.. I hate this surgery.Window catches placed.1 binbag fo rubbish, 1.5 bags for CS and a mountainof stuffed critters to wash and fling.. Lots has been boxed and bagged.. not tidily because I am going through it all when I get time.Long.. naughty woof.. the farmer wouldn't give a second thought to shooting him.. I hope he is feeling suitably remorseful.. Worse than children sometimes!Pixie is not right.. her tummy is hurting lots, since getting home she has had a nap and not moved off the sofa other than to put pjs on!
I need a couple of new (to us) xbox controllers..
I am not sure whether I should take Pixie back to the hospital to be checked ... she is not right..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Yes, pigpen, take her back. You know her better than anybody, and she certainly doesn't sound right
Had a very pleasant hour-and-half with my former colleague, drinking coffee and catching up, at the arboretum this morning. Went from there direct to Action Heart, and finally got home for lunch at about 3.15. Good thing I had eaten a toasted teacake with my coffee!
Church council this evening, meeehhhh!

@pigpen, sounds like you are at the receiving end of antibiotics when all else fails, which I do agree with, but doesn't help you when you are in so much pain
I thank god have never had a UTI so I really wouldn't know how painful it is. The general consensus is the body takes 3 days to build its immunity to start fighting back and a lot of doctors are following that , 3 days after reporting before reaching for the anitbiotics, unless there are contradictionsIf Pixie is causing concern, then straight back to the hospital. Dont be apologetic about the health of children8 -
- did body pump
- went to Mr T. Lots of yellow stickers, yippee, especially as lots of apricots were reduced; we love apricots so I bought 6 punnets at 62p each and froze them.
- lots of gardening done
- flowers and foliage picked for 2 arrangements I need to do tomorrow
- bit more of tax return done
- made pizza for tea
- had long chat with my DB as he's been working abroad for a few weeks and is now home for a few days.
- small amount of general tidying
- ditto drum practiceRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
not sure what Ihave reported but i have cleared the ironing pile, put next loads in WM and DW, tidied out bag, removed some stuff, clipped receipts together, cut up bank card (this time i cut up the old one) and binned stuff. WUALTD, tidied kitchen, stuck labels on jam jars and moved to end of kitchen ready to go in cupboard, dealt with hospital appt and hospital pharmacy, drugs coming Sat am. Done binbag dance and put bin out…just realised i haven’t emptied vacuum. Bother.
I have put pans i’m giving my former colleague, who has twins going to Uni, in car for when i see her. Old jam pan (a loyal and faithful friend) offered to group on FB who are ‘green’.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
