It used to be possible to save just one post on a thread but I can't find a way of doing this now (I have some very old single posts that I've saved like this). I know I can copy and paste onto a doc, or screen snip (unless the post's so long that even with reducing screen size it doesn't all fit onto one screen snip). Is there a way of just saving one post now, please?

The date and time bit under the username at the top of a post, with the little chain link icon, is the URL of a specific post - could you save/bookmark that?

Thank you, yes I could bookmark it, it's just that I'd prefer to be able to do what I used to and save the specific post0 -
I don't think it's been possible to save a specific post (as opposed to thread) for at least three years - it's not something that's available in our current forum software.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1

I suspected as much, it's been a long time since I wanted to save a particular post, thanks for confirming.0 -
I'm reading on ipad and cannot find the "start new thread" button on any forum. I have looked everywhere. Can someone post a screen shot and point to it please?0
