Don't understand.Before there were all sorts of links around the table that I could ignore whereas now this 'white monstrosity' takes over the page whenever I errantly move my mouse towards the top of the page1

I think that’s because you’re on a laptop or desktop. It’s okay on a mobile which I think the forum is now more oriented towards.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I'm sorry, but this arrangement is dreadful, yes desktop:Takes out far too much (almost half) of the screen and gets in way, if using bookmark links for example. I'm sure a floating option on the left would be better3

I'm sure there was some debate before the chosen forum software was selected, but I'm surprised nobody on the development/management team spotted that as an issue, or said 'ah that's ok' when the decision was made.I imagine we're stuck with it until the next major update - which will be who knows when (likely years in the future sadly).3 -

I'd hope there was alpha & beta testing of the 'final' arrangement or layout. But as with many things these days it seems the obvious in oftern overlooked(edit: including my spelling
)
I'm sure it'd look better (excuse the 5 minute MS paint job!):0 -
