Wednesday update...I am now back on to my own shifts from today and that should be me right through until Tuesday next week, although I don't know about Sunday yet. I got through all the stuff I had to do last night before I went to work. I received e-mails today about yet more bills to be paid for DH business. I have phoned him and said that he will need to find someone else to take over the admin side of his business. It is not working allocating tasks to me as they just slide because I keep going out to my own work and I have lodgers to take into consideration too. I suspect from his dejected tone that he is not on board but I'm equally sure that when someone else does take the work over, he will be delighted with a much more professional approach which will obviously be better for the business too. That just leaves the cashing up and the floats to be handed over, will aim for tomorrow on this, and I'll have freed up time to devote to clearing my clutter. I wasn't paid for the work that I was doing so I won't be losing out financially and will be winning by getting all my time back. This is a good result for me.

Didn't pick up a shift on Sunday so I'll have the day to myself which is fab. I want to start uni in September so I have plenty of reading I can do for that and reading is one of my fave things. I think I have hit my target on my overtime for this month so am pleased with that. The cashing up and the floats have been handed over to DH and today will be my last week of doing wages. I am delighted to have been free'd up from that lot. Cannot think of anything else that has been happening.1 -
Last night was my last night of having to do wages and DH has arranged a meeting with our bookkeeper for Sunday. I am hoping that she will take over from me. The only problem is that she works full time and her bookkeeping work is additional to her full time job. She does books for other companies as well as ours so she is short on time. Also, did the last change order too as now that DH is taking that over, he will have a different method of working. He has got a good number of days that he now has to cash up for as well. DH does not like having to do work that is daily grind stuff so it will be interesting to see what the outcome is going to be. Hopefully, he will find someone that ticks all the boxes.
Only two more days to go on payments for CC2 and I will have paid off a quarter of what is outstanding. One more day to go on CC1 and I'll be a third of the way through, days wise, on payments for the Dec 22 transactions.

It seems an excellent idea to pass the books back. You have a lot going on and need some free time for yourself so you don’t burn out. Have a great Saturday 🌟Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

So now paid off one quarter of CC2 totalling £191.02. Glad to have got that out of the way and now on to the next quarter of £187.12 which will start tomorrow. Thursday this week will see me half way through the days on CC1 for Dec 22 transactions. I'm wishing my days away it would seem. Meeting our bookkeeper later on today and also need to go food shopping. Other than that, it should be a quiet day. Could get the room ready for my part-time lodger coming back on Wednesday, I suppose, and that would be one more thing done and out of the way. I am actually on my days of Wednesday and Thursday this week anyone so will have plenty of time to devote to housework then.1 -
Bit of an out of the ordinary day today. I struggled the whole of yesterday with chronic pain so I phoned to request annual leave for today and tomorrow. My husband drove me to the hospital this morning where I was triaged; I had an x-ray followed by a ct scan. I've been kept in over night and will get an mri scan tomorrow. I'm hoping to see my oncologist tomorrow at some point too. My scans weren't supposed to be until next month but I didn't want to wait and waste time when I haven't been able to shift the pain with medication. I'm feeling much better now though and the staff, as always, have been brilliant.
Just made my PAD just now so financials are as follows:
