News for today is that my disease is stable and I've to continue taking zomorph for pain relief. Cause of pain is unknown. I'm just waiting to be discharged now. DH has decided that he has to visit his family first before he comes to collect me. In hindsight, I should have driven myself here and then I could just have driven myself home instead of having to rely on other people. I'll know better next time. I also asked DH a few days ago if we could just sell everything up, apart from our house, so that we could go to uni, pay off my mortgage and have money in the bank. He refused on that one. When we bought our house 5 years ago, he put in every penny he had, I mortgaged myself to the hilt and I also put the sale of my own house into it. Three years later, he wanted the most of his money back (about 75% at a guess) so that he could buy his ex girlfriend's daughter a building. Had he not done that, I would have been mortgage free the following year. I'd worked all the overtime that I possibly could have done and ploughed it into the offset account and was so pleased at that achievement. Pride comes before the fall though. At least with today's news I can continue working for a bit longer, which is a relief. My mother also had mbc and she worked right up until two weeks before she passed away. She's set me a high bar.

Have to go back to hospital to collect a prescription as the machine in the pharmacy broke down and I couldn't wait any longer to be discharged. Have just done my PADding just now and will update the financials early. DH cooked some dinner for us tonight so we had that we he came on from work, which was nice. We don't spend enough time together doing the simple things. Tried the "let's sell up again" but still no joy!

So, one seventh of the way through on CC2 and half way through (days wise) on CC1. Only one more day until pay day, thankfully. Have fallen behind on the savings challenges but shall try to get to the post office to withdraw cash and do a bit of a catch up. Will have to do the wages again this week for DH business as was not able to meet with our bookkeeper due to my health hiccup. Hopefully, this will be the last week of having to do that. My part-time lodger has arrived, which is good. Just over a week to go until my friend arrives for a holiday too and I am really looking forward to this.0 -
Have got PADding on the brain for some reason and it was all I dreamt about throughout the night. I have just made additional payments for CC1 just now which has brought the outstanding amount down by a fair amount. Just as well for payday tomorrow. Once I have updated this I will head to the hospital (one and a half hour's drive each way!) to collect my meds. I have sent my updated med list to my manager and shall await (hopefully) approval that it is okay to continue working. May just look at op'ing CC2 a bit more when I come home too.

I am really cranky today which has been a follow on from yesterday. I was unable to hold my tongue and DH caught the full force of my sharp tongue both last night and again this morning. I have managed to get over that, although he will struggle, as I got everything off my chest that was bothering me. I phoned to apologise to him for being narky and he'll be able to tell me how awful I am, for the things that I say, for the next week or two. Just how it goes in our house and sometimes I just can't do any better. Anyway, I changed my PADding technique today and jumped onto clearing the debt for CC1 April 23 transactions. There were 34 transactions in that month so I have repaid the transactions for day 1 and day 2 today in an effort to reduce timescale. Payday arrived and I thought I might have made my overtime target but I was short by £130 approximately. I won't manage the same amount of overtime this period as I don't have it physically in me just now and also my friend will be coming to stay so I will be off on holiday for a bit too.
I got my discharge letter scanned in last night and have sent it off to Uni as they need it for information on my disability. I have still to get my Student Disability Allowance for completed but I don't know what I have done with my passport. I will have a look for this when I come home from work tonight and then attempt to get that sent to the Uni too. The lady there will complete the part that is required from their side and then she will submit my forms for me, which is handy and I am grateful for the assistance.
I am off now to go and get my Denosumab injection. I have reduced my pain killers and am currently pain free so that is a bonus, for sure. Just need to work on keeping my sharp tongue firmly in my gob and to stop it wagging about stabbing at people. Smile and say nothing shall be my policy today!

Savings update on the cash stuffing challenge...added in envelopes 48, 34, 47, 46, 45, 37, 44 and 30. Total now saved is £576.00. Have not yet worked out what I've chucked in to the unofficial saving towards the penny challenge.
Am now at work and on a break and I was able to get my injection this morning. Calcium levels were fine and haemo and platelets were both at correct levels too. Just need to wait on OH referral now and hope that I can continue working as medically fit. I think this is why I get so narky as I am frustrated and always on edge that I will be stopped from working as there is only my wage coming into the house and I have a mortgage. This wasn't what I signed up for as the agreement was that DH would give up working away from home to work on our house. That way we wouldn't have to pay for labour and we could rent out the rooms. I was continuing working and my wage would meet all the running costs of the bills. Then he changed his mind and I've been left to carry everything workwise and bill wise. I just can't seem to get past my resentment of it all at the moment. He is working on projects that generate nothing income wise and cannot see why I am annoyed at this.
To top all that off, when I tried to get to work today, the district nurse had parked her car and blocked the road off completely and thought nothing of the inconvenience to other road users. She obviously didn't fancy walking more than 100 yards from the parking area to get to her client's house. Just did the whole "I'm sorry about that" which of course means nothing. What she actually means is that she just sticks her car wherever she wants and thinks she is absolved of any wrongdoing by apologising. Seems to be the way nowadays, just say sorry and every action is excusable and allowed. Oh look, I just broke your leg because I hit you with my car...sorry about that...oh that's okay, no worries. Oh look, I just parked in disabled bays because all other bays were full...sorry about that...oh that's okay, no worries. Oh look, I've just bankrupted the country because I want to give all your tax money to the deserving rich as they need their savings pots overflowing...sorry about that...Oh that's okay, no worries. Oh look, I've just run down the NHS so that you now have to pay to go privately even although you've paid your NI contributions all your life...sorry about that...Oh that's okay, no worries. Ethics and principles seem to have disappeared rapidly, sorry about that. Chaos here we come and it's not going to be a pretty sight. So much for my smile and say nothing attitude today. Sorry about that!

Had a decent shift yesterday and not too bad a finish to the day, thankfully. Back out today and I'm hoping for an early finish. Some of my colleagues are leaving for new jobs and they have been for medicals and I am so pleased for them but I will miss them greatly when they go. They are just such lovely lads and they do so well work wise and looking after their families and they are also excellent at overpaying on their mortgages and they don't mind me talking to them about how great it is that they are doing the overpaying and they don't mind me trying to encourage them (or should that be nag?) to keep going with it all and get their debts from out under their feet.
My PAD for today has been done and the outcome is as follows:

Doubled up on the days again for CC1 - still hoping to clear in 17 days instead of the original 34 days. Would really like if I could manage this. Think I have lost my narkyness today as well and back to being a bit more relaxed. Better sign off and get ready to go to work though. Must not be late!

Well, I did get that early finished that I'd hoped for and I greatly appreciated it. I haven't managed NSD's much this week but they are at the forefront of my mind and I will endeavour to get back on the wagon with those. I opted for a ding dinner for tonight and also had a cream cake and I thoroughly enjoyed both and also enjoyed not having to cook. I even managed to get some shut eye after dinner when I'd gotten home. I tried to fuel my car on my way home but unsuccessful. DH, I think, must have previously fuelled it and I was unable to loosen the petrol cap. He came home earlier on and then went back to work in my car and will have fuelled it for me so that's a bonus as it saves me the petrol spend. I am happy at that and he likes to fill the tank for me now and again. I am just waiting on him coming home just now but it will be another hour or so yet before he finishes. He is exhausted with the hours that he is putting in.
I have done my PAD for today and the financials are as follows:
