Less busy at work today. Had a proper lunch break during which I returned a dress to Nxt and picked up some items for a top up shop plus a box of chocs for DS’s teacher. Took Mum along for the ride, mainly to catch up with her and get her out of the house. She insisted on paying for one of the summer dresses I liked.Grateful for Mum buying me a dress, for an easy dinner from a weekend batch cook, and for an interesting / insightful documentary series OH and I are watching just now.

Me too, Shrewbie.
Not a lot happening here and it's too hot to do very much. That said, one lots of washing hung up outside, another in the machine, bins taken out and plants watered. All before half past eight.
Now having a coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet while Himself has a lie in. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Belated happy birthday @f0xh0les, you've got a year on me. 2.5 years til my 5-0.
Thanks @DawnW, will make sure I cook any i might acquire in the future 😊
Been AWOL a few days, & a daunting feeling thinking I had pages & pages to catch up on, but there were only 2 when I looked!
DH still slowly improving. Had the 40th anniversary of the local Flower Club, which I used to be treasurer for, on Tuesday. Was nice to see everyone. Managed to get another sewing job done last night.
Grateful for jigsaw time, reading time (both at work), DS1 getting his car back & collecting more velcro for the sewing job
Have a good day! I've started with yoga & will be going yole sailing with the class this morningUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Glad to hear Mr T T is improving. Hot. hot here again today.
My great nephew got his results from Cambridge University today. Passed with honours. I'm so proud of him. Not bad considering my Grandfather was an Irish immigrant who could barely read or write save to sign his own name (and that came late in life) We should never underestimate the benefits of education and encourage the young to make the most of their talents whatever they may be. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Congratulations to your great nephew @Toni'sfriend 🙌
@f0xh0les apologies, I'm mortified! I meant another one done... 😳7
