Sorry, I'm pretty much confused with this. If the 'case closed' email is not directly connected to the case which we are discussing re sending the DQ N180, then don't send the letter I suggest, it has no relevance. 

The real dangers of discussing two different cases on one thread! 🤦‍♂️

Sorry for the confusion! my bad! 

On the opening post I explained how we both received a Claim Form , and how each of them escalated … I did my best to list the incidents/letters/emails etc ...

 Then only after I posted my defence statement for more clarity, I enclosed the email thread re my husbands case - mentioned it there as well that is his -  to show the different reaction to the same defence statement for two cases.

(In my little head I was thinking that if I go to court , I will use his case as a cover/example/evidence on how shabby DCB L is )

But your case won't go to a hearing and his case is irrelevant.  One doesn't affect the other.

Moi aussi. It's the only way to deal with the sheer volume. If we all had to go back to the start of each thread to understand the minutiae, there would be hundreds of threads without forum regulars' input each week. 

OPs tend to believe that as everything is clear in their own minds about their particular issue, regulars pitching in should have the same clarity and understanding.

Today, I have received the email below from DCB -Legal :
