YAY !!! Worked for us this afternoon - MIDDLEBROOK, HORWICH.

Got 2 expecting to pay £5 each and it took off the Full Amount - YIPEE !!

Went back in and got 2 more for family along with a few other bits - went to the same dopey cashier and Hey Presto Free Again.

Unfortunately mum doesn;t like smoked so got one spare LOL

It is not just the acting dense ( doesn't take much for me!) but the fact that you get filthy looks ( deservedly so) from the rest of the queue that you only bought like 5 items, and you are putting the big 2 back.
Can you imagine during the mania of food shopping today having some demented woman repeatedly needing to have her shopping cancelled as she has forgotten her credit card - I have not been popular in my Tescos.:o
Oh well, at least they accept my eccentricity - coupons, till spits, R&R, DTD...now the Gammon Queen - or not in this case.
Still not got the Turkey, so if anyone spots a glitch on that I would appreciate it.

Brooklands (weybridge) manager took them off all the shelf and away from me when he saw i was getting 6 for free, sa was very sorry that she told him (scrodge)

Worked in Sheffield, Abbeydale Rd tonight, but none left now!

they did have some - I bought 2 yesterday - charged me 5 pounds each.
They were on the third meat isle and NOT on the end of the isle where a lot of other gammon was.

I think it works at all stores, as long as the price is between £21 and £23. I bought from 4 stores: Bishops stortford, Cheshunt, Brookfield, Harlow. Worked in all. My family love Gammon and I am so pleased, theres not much chance of saving money at Christmas, I am over the moon!

Sorry to clarify does this work in certain stores or any store depending on the cost (if its 20-23)? If the former has anyone tried any Bedford/MK stores?
