  • Er I should think lugging around 4 huge gammon joints would not be recommended;)
Good luck, and I should think someone should be cooking Christmas dinner for you - slaving over a hot oven in your condition is not recommended - tell your hubby from me!:D
Put your feet up and just savour the smell of Christmas dinner being cooked for you - I'll be lucky to get any help with the washing up:rolleyes:

Ha ha...I went in twice & went through the self service both times. I made sure I had something else in so it wasnt quiet as obvious!
Hubby is well trained up now :rotfl: I'll having slaving away on Christmas day don't you worry!

    Thanks for the good luck!
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

    Interesting this.

I bought a piece of free gammon this morning and went back again this afternoon with a friend. We both had a piece of gammon that was identical to the piece I bought in the morning. However we went through the self scan this time but only the £5 was taken off. I wondered if it was the self scan that made the difference??

    Who knows.

I am delighted with my bargain
    Thanks again

    Dx

Self scan worked in my store.

it is working at stratford road extra store because i got 2 an hour ago....and the FULL price was refunded so free gammon for me this xmas:T thankyou for the heads up!!

It may have worked for you but it certainly didn't work for us when we tried it this afternoon and I made sure it was the right gammon as well.

We went through the basket till near the main entrance so I'm wondering whether that is programmed differently from the main tills.

I tried in altrincham today, 5.30pm, but all it took off was £5 so I paid and then took it back to customer services saying I had picked up the wrong one, it was priced at £22.41.
