Your not alone - I'd be worrying about the same thing - hardly worth it when you think about the number of people going through Tescos tills today. the same. I'd love to try this out, but really don't want to venture in one of their biggest UK stores this evening and then find that they've either all gone or it doesn't work.

Goole store not working!!! gutted, however still paid for them and then checked receipt, took them for refund at CSD and got full money back. Gained £10 though!

Not working in Gloucester store ( Brockworth one)
I went as far as a £10 discount on 2 but not sure if cashier clicked pay so maybe that would've made a difference.

Twice I have tried these glitches with items & twice it failed. Clearly Gloucester stores are hot on these glitches ......... Grrrrrr.

I did read a post about this earlier in the thread, but thought it was worth a go. The cs desk was so busy, i don't think they really cared what it was - just wanted to get the queue down.
They had a crate behind the desk, with what i presume was other returns, and she just placed them in there, so probably going to be wasted anyhow.

That £10 refund we spent on an extra Christmas present for us - Bop It Download from PC World - Managers reduction from £14.99.

No glitch at Great Yarmouth although I got one anyway as it works out just under £6/kg so pretty good. Taking it round my aunties for dinner 2moz, was gonna buy a beef joint.
