from what i can glim from dh who is in charge of a few very large companies databases that this must be at a national level and the sale of so many gammons at xmas would not alert them as its a seasonal food, he also is sure each store cannot change the price as its done via a singular database and therefore that would need changing not the individual stores.

All the dates for use are 25th 26th Dec in my store...so as they are closed over Christmas seems sensible. (having said that it does not work!!)

Managed to get 6 in 3 diffrent stores. 1 Store where i bought 4 the price did not come off.

Working in both stores in Worcester - can confirm this as I have just got joints from both tonight (FYI Warndon Villages and St Peters). Very Very happy. This is a contender for post of the month!!!!

We got ours at 12:55 on the ss till, and there was still quite a few left - they are on an end on the main isle, opposite the health and beauty isle.;)
