Working in Telford Tesco's at Wrekin Retail park at 4.30 pm ...charge Zero on final checkout receipt .

I am convinced Tesco are just trying to clear them out before Christmas Eve!

Seems very strange that it hasn't been fixed yet. Wonder if the stores currently out of stock will get more in?!

Definitely NOT working at Hastings. Only takes the 5 pounds off. It was the right one too.

I can now confirm that it does NOT work in Tesco Tring - hope it saves someone the trip (sick baby or not the temptation was too great..).

They have tried to fix it that's why it's free now instead of £5 a piece, as for a subversive attempt at stock clearance these joints move through the tills faster than a warm turd down a ski slope at this time of the year.

Your lucky she took them back, the rule is {And this is supported by trading standards on health and safety grounds} no return more than 30mins from checkout time unless faulty/off. However you really should have followed her back to the chiller and picked them straight up and got them for nothing :rotfl:
