Good shout cheers.Le_Kirk said:If you are concerned about whether or not you have actually submitted a defence via the "defence box" just look at your status on MCOL, it should give you a timeline such as: -
claim issued on dd/mm/yy
AoS submitted on dd/mm/yy
AoS received on dd/mm/yy
What you DONT want to see is: -
defence received on ..........
At least not until you have actually sent it by e-mail.0 -

I'll let you know as soon as I'm able to log on. Not accepting my Government Gateway ID which I have saved in an email or my password which I wrote down so I can't log in at present it's a terrible website. Trying to reset my password but it's taking me in circles and not allowing me to. A few unanswered phone calls and an e-mail later I'm waiting on a response. Shouldn't stop me e-mailing my defence. I wrote nothing in the box and never pressed submit so I'm confident it's not logged anything. Soon as I'm in I'll update.YankeeBrit said:...and?0 -
In the meantime how is this for section 3? Too short? Too long? Other things relating to the case are covered by CouponMad further down.
"3. On the xx/xx/xx at xx:xxam the driver purchased and clearly displayed a valid 3 hour ticket whilst parked in the Xxxxx Xxxxxx Car Park. Upon returning to the vehicle at approximately xx:xxpm the valid ticket was lying on the reverse side still clearly displaying its unique serial number printed on both sides. A subsequent Parking Charge for breach of the terms and conditions had been issued in the drivers’ absence. The driver and defendant had fully honored the terms and conditions of the said car park by parking correctly, purchasing a ticket and returning to the car within the allotted time. Vehicle Control Services do not dispute that a valid ticket was purchased for the vehicle XXXX XXX at the said carpark on the said date and time nor do they dispute that the driver returned to the vehicle within the allotted 3 hour time limit."
Thank you as always!!!

Right so I’m now logged in. On the summary page it looks like I’ve started my defence as it has options for ‘continue defence’ or ‘delete’. At no point did I ever write anything in the box nor did I press ‘next’ which it says on the guidance notes confirms and saves the information you have entered. So I’m thinking press delete then no defence is confirmed and email it in. Thoughts?YankeeBrit said:...and?0 -
I'd leave that section alone completely.
typo: "honored".PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

As in what I have written for section 3 is okay? Will change the typo thanks.Coupon-mad said:I'd leave that section alone completely.

Are you defending as Keeper only or Keeper and Driver? Is the PCN POFA complaint? If you are defending as Keeper only, you need to adjust the above.ParkingScum said:"3. First post by OP:-
"There was a data protection leaflet left on my windscreen, then within 14 days I’ve had my notice to keeper (I was a passenger not the driver) and have refused to give driver details. I’ve appealed to both VCS and the IAS (I know its a waste of time but I wanted to say I followed the process if it goes to court)"

Then perhaps add the word both to this sentence "The driver and defendant had fully honoured the terms and conditions..." so that it reads "The driver and defendant had both fully honoured the terms and conditions..."4
