Brilliant WS. Excellent court report. Outstanding outcome.
As VCS clearly obtained your data unlawfully and consider your new found confidence in the civil legal system, perhaps you should consider suing VCS for your GDPR breach.0 -

Just reading the previous responses about making a complaint about the DVLA and VCS regarding data protection I’m wandering where to start the complaint. I can complain directly to the DVLA for the data protection breach which will eventually end up with the Independent Complaints Assessor ICA. Or complain directly to the ICO (who deal with data protection breaches) about the DVLA and VCS. I’ve still got some fight left in me and to be honest I want some compensation for a year of my life spent fighting that bogus ticket considering VCS knew they had no contract in place for land authority to take me to court and the DVLA clearly have no checks in place to ensure a company has the relevant authority to obtain your private details. The court has pretty much said their contract is null n void. Or do I just launch a small claim against either one of them. Should this be on a new thread or a continuation of this one?1

VCS also have until Thursday to send me a cheque as well which im not holding much hope for which will mean I’ll be reporting that back to the court.1

Or do I just ring a Contract Solicitor n see if they’ll take a no win no fee case on for some compo against them both.0

You have to wait until the payment due date has passed before you can do anything.
You could complain and demand payment, or you could obtain a warrant of Control or some other way of forcing them to pay if you are feeling radical. The downside of that is if you receive the payment whilst you obtain said warrant.
Of course, since PPCs including VCS routinely state that they never received correspondence from the motorist, wouldn't it be ironic if their cheque got lost in the post?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
