I didn’t want VCS to be able to identify me should they find this thread. But I’m past caring. 0 -
Thats their redactions only. Names and prices are covered. And for some reason their company address. Not sure whats covered at the bottom of the contract. The date is old but 6.5 states it will roll on.0

According to Companies House, Cousins Property Ltd has never existed.4

There is no company called Cousins Property Limited registered at Companies House, nor has there ever been as far as I can tell. The company with which VCS are alleged to have had a contract does not exist, and never did. The company details, including Company Number, have been redacted, so there is no way of determining any other conclusion other than that VCS did not have a contract with a registered company that had the authority to trade.
The original term defined in para 2? is for 36 months from the 18th of Feb 2013.
The extended term is defined in para 6.5 as being equal to the original term, therefore the extended term is defined as per the contract as 36 months, beginning 36 months from the 18th of Feb 2013.
By my calculations, the extended term ended in 2019.
There is no mention of a further rollover, therefore according to my understanding of the contract, the contract between VCS and the mythical landowner ended in 2019. I'll let you work out the exact date.
The contract was produced when VCS were BPA members, but unfortunately makes reference to another DVLA approved ATA so there is no mileage in that.
Did VCS include copies of the signs allegedly at the site in their WS? If so, please show us those as well, or your own if you have them.
Did VCS send their WS by post or electronically? If the latter, I will send you a pm later about the redactions. If you were sent a paper copy then it doesn't matter.
Have you identified the landowner? Is it the Discovery Centre? If so, is that a public building owned by the council? I ask because councils are not allowed to run car parks as if they were privately owned.
ETA
None of the companies listed at Companies House beginning with "Cousins Property ..." have ever previously been called, Cousins Property Limited/Ltd. The man on the Clapham omnibus would therefore most likely conclude that Cousin's Property Ltd is a phantom company.
I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

And isn't that just a very old 36 month 'fixed period' contract from Feb 2013 - 2016?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have a look at the land registry for the site it appears on there…

You have a point RE the contract end date. But I went to see the land owner and their own car park is ran by VCS which I why it looks feasible they have an agreement with them. This was sent on paper to me.Fruitcake said:There is no company called Cousins Property Limited registered at Companies House, nor has there ever been as far as I can tell. Theres a sign from the car park. The other sign mentions no £70 debt recovery fee. 0 -
But we have now seen the Land Registry detail.Castle said:According to Companies House, Cousins Property Ltd has never existed.
That shows the suspect company name to be Cousins Properties Ltd. which does exist on Companies House records - company number 00563079.
I don't know how significant that discrepancy is - property versus properties.1 -
Reading section 6.5 in the contract again it mentions the Term and Extended Term I think it rolls on and on. It wouldn’t mention the client having to cancel prior to the term and extended term if it only rolled on once. My understanding is this has been rolling since the start date and has rolled onto the new owners as it also mentions. I can’t really find fault with it.0
