The book I just read was quite small compared to some of the others I have read like Marley well very small I finished it so quick because yesterday instead of reading a few pages I read a small chapter and it became so exciting I ended up reading till the end it was only another small chapter well here is my review:

The book cool is all about this boy and his pet dog getting run over the boy is in a coma and everyone has done everything they can to try and wake him he even gets a viste from his idol Zola the football player then after 6 weeks everyone is beggining to give up. Untill his dad might have another idea. The author is Michael Morpurgo. My favourite word is cool because the book is called cool as it is the boys, Robbies favourite word and is is always mentioned in the book.

The reason I am trying not to get into a long book is because my mum has ordered a set of Heartland books from my old primary book club for me and I want to read them next but I will pick a book that might last for a few weeks. I have not a clue what I am going to read next but I will tell you when I know.

I have been busy lately so I have not been able to read alot. A few a days ago I started to read a book called Cat magic I have read two chapters and I still have not discoved what the title has to do with the book ow well must keep reading and find out bye :cool:

Hi Hawkrider (and lilacgirl:hello: ) -love the challenge. I spotted it at the bottom of your mums signature and was curious. I've got a few books to recommend to you:
Have you read any by Phillip Reeve? He's written a brilliant set of four books, the first one of the series is called 'mortal engines'. Fast paced, funny & serious and set in the future, the hero is a boy just a bit older than you. Superb.
How about any books by Darren Shan - really gory and scary but brill at the same time. The one I have is called Lord Loss.: if you're anything like me stand by to sleep with the light on after reading that one though! The hero is a boy about your age.

Have you heard of Holes by Louis Sachar A great story about a boy who's sent to a 'correctional institute'. Way funnier than that sounds I promise you.
I think it may have been made ito a film now too.
And finally, I love Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morporgo. About a boy who set sail with his parents on a round the world trip and gets lost at sea.

I see you liked 'the curious incident of the dog in the night time'. I went on a weeks writing holiday with the author of that and he did a great doodle in my copy of his book.

My sister has the book holes she says it is great!
I have been busy lately and haven't been able to post all my book reviews so here they are
name: Miley Cyrus: you and me star of hannah Montana.
It is all about the show Hannah Montana and the actors in it, it also has a lot of inf on how Miley started acting and how she made it through her 12 orditions untill she got the part!
Favourite word: Favourite and it means the best.
I think it is a good book but boys probely won't enjoy it. :rotfl:

My Second book is called twin trouble and is writen by Jacqueline Wilson it is all about a girl called Connie her mum has twins and she gets a bit jelouse when she has to move bedrooms for the twins and because they get the etention. When the nurse comes around to check on her mum she puts two magic beads in connies hair when the beads rub together will her life change forever? my favourite word is kitkat because it reminds me of choclate, it's my favourite type of choclate! yum yum.:j
