'Envisage'? If SS asks me one more daft Q, I'm going to make it happen.
(Only kidding SS...)0 -
Even I'm waiting with bated breath, although I think if SS does get it going, their next stop should be eBay!

It's highly unlikely their will be anything wrong with it, it's only had a bit of oil in the wrong place, once running it will blow any resdidual out.Dustyevsky said:Even I'm waiting with bated breath, although I think if SS does get it going, their next stop should be eBay!

Spin the engine with the plug out to dispel any excess oil, and refit. If you use the blowtorch method, replace the plug when hot, and try a quick start.
last line means..?? by rotating key right..?

Listening to that you either have a flat battery, or still have too much oil in the cylinder. But having watched you spin it without the spark plug I'd say most likely flat battery. Let's hope.
Charge it and give it another try.2 -
I remember, back in the 1980's, on really cold mornings when my car wouldn't start, I'd take the spark plugs out and put them in the oven for 20 mins.
After putting them back in quickly, the car would always start first time. I probably needed a new battery but this method always worked when the mornings were bitterly cold.0
