I'd give it a bit more running time, including leaving it a day or two before running it hot again, and only then changing the plug... just to make sure all the oil has burnt off.But not delaying it for years though.... just in case those microcracks get bigger and shatter the insulator. Pieces of ceramic insulator punching holes in the piston crown wouldn't make for a nice DIY project.1
