If there is anything new to add. If not, it could annoy the Judge.

Hello, today we received a letter stating that a CCJ has been issued, despite sending back the form that we wish to defend the parking fine..

No, because you have already submitted your evidence and this email is not for evidence or late submissions.

    Copy in DCB Legal.

Cross your fingers that your earlier submissions are enough to tip the balance in your absence.

Oh - EDITED to add that I would re forward your WS & evidence bundle separately and remind the court that this was first submitted on DATE and is unchanged and is the evidence you wish to rely upon for the hearing in your absence.

BOTH emails need the claim number and the time/date of hearing and the word URGENT in the subject line.
@Coupon-mad - could the OP send a supplemental WS with more evidence if needed? Maybe this could help in light of the non attendance
    Hi,

Yes my Defence and WS are shared in this thread.

I have been unable to locate the PoC. Is there a quick way of obtaining this to see if there is a mention of 'the driver agreed to pay within 28 days'? As this doesn't appear to be stated on the parking as the parking sign did not convey this as @Bazarius @Bazarius has stated above.

Could this then be included within the supplemental WS?

Hearing is on the 20th so need to get this email
    sent off tomorrow morning.

You don't need one.  Your WS already had everything, including CEL v Chan as an exhibit.

So I have received an email DCB Legal today offering to settle at £370, with current outstanding balance of £580.

Is the advice to ignore or reply back to advise they can continue court process?

I really hope so! They might be inclined to proceed given my notification of non attendance and with this being a 2 x PCN case

I don't think they definitely will.

Really hope so, but this is a case they now know that he/she can't attend and it's a 3 hour hearing (after an adjourned earlier hearing), and they've left it very late if they are going to discontinue this one.

    Fingers crossed!

@GolfR12 you could respond and offer them something like £30 to discontinue the case, if you are thinking that a hearing in your absence will be weighted against you if they attend.  I can't recall what PCN issue your case is about and whether you have a very very strong case or a debatable one.  We were all expecting a discontinuance by now...

    Or reply and say

"no, please discontinue and we'll both drop hands; no costs for either party".
