I’ve been following this thread since September 2023, when I received a money claim from MET Parking through DBC Legal for two PCNs incurred seven years ago.

I used a similar defense and witness statement tailored to my situation, which involved an alleged overstay at BP Stansted and waiting near a “no waiting” sign. While I haven't seen the PCNs, the particulars of the claim were similar to the case discussed here.

I had my hearing today, and I’m pleased to report that I won. The judge ruled in my favor, ordering the claimant to pay me £95 for my loss of leave.

Interestingly, the judge rejected my argument that the particulars of claim (PoCs) were unclear, even though I felt they didn’t provide enough information for me to mount a proper defense. However, he concluded that MET was not claiming keeper liability but driver liability. Since the claimant couldn’t prove who was driving that day, he dismissed the claim.

This is my second successful defense against an unfair money claim, and I’m grateful to this community for the support.
