Just to give a different perspective:

I live with my OH, I sold my flat this year and moved into his place. I pay for NOTHING, except a bit of food shopping.
The reason for this- my OH already had all the DDs set up from his account and when I suggest making a contribution his reply is always that it doesn't matter- we are a partnership and effectively it all comes out of the same pot regardless of whose name is on the account.
So I save, over 3/4 of my wages, so that when we decide to buy a place together we have a bigger deposit. I also save for short term goals like holidays/ weekends away. Any decisions are made jointly.

I don't think it's necessarily the fact you're paying for everything but the fact that you're not on the same wavelength financially and it's up to you to decide whether this is a deal breaker.
