Well, what a lovely holiday that was
and a bonus was that we missed the snow! It was so lovely and warm we didn't want to come home...
I have come back with a cold though. It went from 0-60 on the plane journey home and now I feel rotten. But only 3 days of work and then I am off for my girly weekend shopping so I have no time to be poorly!
I managed 2-3 NSDs on hol (def 2, but could have been another) and today will be one for me. I've no spending plans until Thursday. The PAD today included £5 to the sabbatical as usual, and left over holiday budget to sinking funds. Always nice to have some left over... I would usually have spent it previously so this way it's going back towards another holiday
That's all from me today, off to make a good cuppa and try not to scratch my prickly heat. I hope you're all safe and well and had a good week last week!

Welcome back LMD. Glad you had a great time. You missed some lively weather here. Very cold at times and very wet at times. Good morning! I am in a bit of a rush today as I have lots of things happening at home - internet engineer coming anytime from 8 and I have to pack fro my next little jaunt

It's a NSD for me today though, I have nowhere to be and by my reckoning I only have a couple more presents to buy for Christmas over this next week so wrapping can commence on Sunday. I also need to write my cards so they can be posted next Monday. I'll definitely get the last of the gifts on Friday whilst we are away on our shopping trip.
My PAD today was £5 to the sabbatical, it's the last dice roll of the month tomorrow and then pay day on Thursday
I read many books on holiday, and I am now on book 69, should finish that this evening though if I'm feeling it as I think hubby is watching the footy. After this one I will be moving on to the Christmas themed books (of which there are 9 waiting for me) so I am very much looking forward to that!
Better go and get the kitchen set up as my office for the day... and get a brew whilst I can have one uninterrupted!
Have lovely Tuessdays!

Happy Wednesday! Hope you're all well? It's my Friday today as I am off the rest of the week and it's also pay day tomorrow so I have cleared the accounts to savings as I'm not spending today.
So, £25 has gone to sabbatical, taking me over £4k, £100 in spare budget for this week has gone to the sealed pot, I had £35 in dice rolls and I've put £100 in my travel pots. Not too bad, and I think that's because I've not needed any of this month's budget for holiday - the sinking funds work!
I finished my book last night and will start a new one at lunchtime. The Christmas books are out
I have 9 to keep me going so I doubt I will run out.
That's all from me.
Take care and stay warm

Happy Monday folks! I had a fab weekend away, and now all of my Christmas shopping is done and dusted, wrapped and tagged ready to be delivered.
I didn't get good sleep whilst we were away so I am more than a little knackered and I wish I had booked an extra day off to recover.
I realise I have made my PAD, but I have 2 large holiday instalments to make today so I will need to go back and add another. As usual I have sent £5 to the sabbatical and I have also added £5.30 to the sealed pot today.
It's a NSD for me, not going anywhere today. The weather is grim and I'm too tired and work is busy already. I will read some more of my book at lunch, I didn't get much read over the weekend as I figured that would be a bit anti-social haha.
Anyway, once I've made these instalments and sorted everything out I will be back with my totals for the month.
Have good days

Paid the holidays now, so here are my totals after Christmas and black Friday trips and spending:

Good morning and happy Tuesday!
Another manic day for me today as work is so busy and then I am out this evening. No plans for the rest of the week though so that's good. I think I am also driving tonight so any spends should be low, allowing for left over budget to be sent to the sealed pot.
As I'm out, it's not a NSD for me. I am aiming for 15 in December which I think is doable and it allows me to attend festive gatherings too.
PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical, think my accounts are quivering after yesstrday's holiday payments to be honest... I know I will have no regrets when I'm there though!
Finished my book last night and started my second Christmas one, I'm glad I stocked up a few to see me through December
That's all in terms of updates from me - time for another brew!
Much love

Hi guys, hope everyone is well? It really feels like a count down to Christmas now as the festive tunes are on everywhere and there seems to be no escape from all the decorations wherever we go.
I am not sure if our decorations will go up this weekend or next. I would prefer this weekend but it depends on hubby and his enthusiasm for going in the loft. It's not a space I venture into
Today is a NSD for me, I have no plans now until next Tuesday, but definitely not doing anything today. I will be reading this evening and having an early night.
PAD was good this morning, with the usual £5 to the sabbatical, £90 in dice rolls to savings and £12.95 in change to the sealed pot. I've started to include the per-centile dice now hubby is back earning properly so hopefully that savings pot will start to grow well.
Still on book 71, will see how I get on with that this evening
Catch you all later
