Now for a healthier, wealthier me

Thanks Ant, I did a bit of research yesterday evening and I made the decision to change my Sabbatical to an ISA, it still automatically transfers each day so on the fac of it, nothing will change. I may also add some more depending on holiday and Christmas spends if I am under budget. I do have to pay some of my tax at the higher rate so without going into advanced maths and calculations I just decided it was easier to do that, than save up the required amount to then buy additional premium bonds. Especially as it's a low value at the moment. Once I have reached my 9k target it will make sense to buy them then.

Happy Fri-yay! I have now finished book 62 over breakfast and will start on 63 today. I have no plans this evening so will probably get stuck into that later
Still can't decide how many books to pack for holiday as I will read LOTS then.
I have £40 left over from my cash budget this week so that's been added to my physical sealed notes pot. It's a NSD for me and no plans until Sunday which is an all-day outing and as we will be a captive audience at an event from 10am to 7pm I feel it will be a spendy one. I can always dip into my social/fun sinking fund if needs be.
PAD today included the £40 to the sealed pot and £5 as usual to the sabbatical (now Sabbatical ISA
)
That's all from me, I'm off to count the PADs now! We are still thin on the ground with PADders so if anyone fancies joining us here feel free

I have started to read again and enjoying it. Did start with my kindle but then went to the library for some books as I much prefer physical books to a kindle.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

Happy Monday
I'm now officially on the countdown to holiday on Sunday and I can't wait! I need to get a packing list together over the next few days - eek!
Meanwhile, I still have a week of work to do and I have to reconcile the finances as yesterday was super spendy, although we have also booked again for next year and I bought the tickets as part of family Christmas presents - a cunning plan I think, as that's another 3 gifts ticked off the list
Today's PAD was just the £5 to the sabbatical fund. Nothing extra until Wednesday this week when I do the dice rolls. I'm aiming for a nice quiet and cheap week this week given the weekend and the looming holiday. Oh, and a family birthday party on Friday too...
Right, I'm off to work!
Have lovely days

What a wet and miserable morning, even the dog doesn't want to go out... It makes me more excited about heading off into the sunshine next week.
Not much happening in the accounts at the moment, they're still recovering from Sunday
I've PADded £5 to the sabbatical as usual. I will be doing double dice rolls in the morning to make up for next week so hopefully there'll be a nice sum heading to savings there. I doubt I will have any spare budget this week as I haven't allocated any for this Friday due to going away and I have the family birthday party on Friday at the pub so I will probably need to use it for that. I'll chuck anything leftover in the pot on Saturday before we fly.
Anyway that's pretty much it. It's not a NSD as it's Tuesday so I am off out tonight as usual but hopefully tomorrow and Thursday will be
Have lovely days

Good morning and happy Wednesday! It's my fake Friday today as I'm on my day off tomorrow for appointments and last minute holiday sorting...
It's a NSD for me today though, work is absolutely crazy and I can see I will end up working later than I should but we have no plans this evening, we may play a board game after dinner or I will read for a bit. I know DH has some ironing to do (so very rock and roll!) so I may persuade him to do my 2 pairs of jeans if he's feeling generous haha!
Finance wise, I had some change in my purse which has gone to the sealed pot, £86 in dice rolls for this week and for next whilst I am away and the usual £5 to the sabbatical. I remembered this week to add the dice cash to my £10k saver and not the sealed pot
which I take as a win for my menopausal brain!
That's it from me today, I hope you're all doing OK and looking after yourselves

Thanks

Happy Fri-yay guys! I'm even happier today as it's the last manic work day before I head off on holiday and I am thrilled... although I still need to pack, clean the house and fuel the car.
Today isn't a NSD as it's a family birthday get together this evening. It's also a surprise party so I can't wait to see the reaction - I'd be furious haha!
My PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical today, I PADded yesterday but forgot to post as I was busy and travelling about so I'll try and keep on top of that too.
Finished by book last night, I will start another tomorrow and get a few chapters in so I will be emotionally invested before the flight
DSD is borrowing my iPad for travelling as it has far better batter life than hers.
Not sure if I will post whilst away, depends on signal and if I have anything exciting to update on
Have fabulous days!

Have a fabulous time. At least storm Claudia will have cleared off by tomorrow.
I bet the family member will be shocked at first but will end up enjoying the surprise party. It will be a lovely memory to look back on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
