Tomorrow is payday in F0xh0les T0wers. I have £3 of my budget left in my bank account, and £2 left in small change in my purse. So that all worked out pretty well. The credit card bill is less than £130. which is a major improvement on the last few months. So all is moving in the right direction. Not earned any money this month at all, so not too shoddy all round. I finally owe the energy company £12, so it is time to start building up a buffer again. Savings are exactly where I wanted them to be. This time next year I want to be making my own energy and hot water via the medium of my roof. There has been no magic or awe, but some frogs have been munched, and a bit of weight lost.Everything is heading in the right direction.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Pleased to hear your appointment went well @Toni'sfriend, & you're now feeling less stressed & more positive.
Well done on all your progress thiso month turtles, I've had an up & down month, but ending on a more positive note & taking more time for me. Tonight I am going to see a friend & walk/jog alongside her on her horse. Haven't done that since last autumn, so will be nice.
Yesterday was another NSD, could be #14.
Had a good day at work, doing different things from normal. Went for a walk afterwards, then put all holiday photos in an album. Was nice to tick that off my to do list. Took GF home & had music blasting, we both sang along at the top of our voices & it felt really good! Had a bath after cutting some pieces out for a memory bear.
Grateful for feeling more positive, car karaoke, a nice dayUse it up, wear it out

love a bit of car karaoke @Thrifty_Taylor!
I've also had a bit of a rollercoaster of a month but overall I'm pleased with myself, particularly with the frog munching and maintaining connections - although very much like you @ditty1234 I feel like I want to open up a bit more. It was an expensive one however so looking forward to chilling out a bit in June and saving money.
Well done to all the turtles for May, I love this thread because it forces me to take the time to reflect on the month and to be able to see the positives when those might otherwise be forgotten!
I'm grateful for every single one of you. Have a great day!!

Thank you, Shrewbie and Granmanerd.
Been hot here again today. So- Got up really early. That's a continuing plan for next month
- Walk to the shops and back. Just over three miles
- Didn't need any shopping really but there were loads and loads of really good YS bargains so bought lots of fish (it's so expensive normally) and veg. We couldn't get celery for love nor money last week and now it's being sold at 50% off and it will last for ages.
- Did Himself's banking
- Bought a little handbag diary so I can get all these appointments, etc in the one place for easy reference
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -

Evening turtles
Well we made it through May! I ticked off almost everything on my list except for buying a new toilet seat, but that's not urgent. I did take measurements so I just need to get to the shop and find one that fits.
Busy-ish month but also got to enjoy some time off. Money wise everything is okay, just need to keep an eye on things. June and July are crazy busy aslt work so I think I'm probably going to be kind and not commit to any MSE challenges or posting, so I'll see you all in a few months time!Save £3,000 emergency fund #79 - £2,073.28 as of 05/24
Pay off credit card by December 2024 - £0/£2,0004
