Like @Shrewbie, what makes me happy is travel and good food.Staying on NSD 4.I was working in the office today and had taken my lunch which I’d eaten by 11am. By actual lunchtime I wasn’t hungry and went for a walk around. I felt I needed something but couldn’t put my finger on it… then it was staring me in the face. I walked into a Chocolat Hotel for the very first time in my life and ordered a classic hot chocolate. I was offered a VIP card with 20% off my drink in exchange for my email… sign me up!And that’s the story of how I lost my NSD. No regrets - it was a great hot chocolate.Grateful today for an excellent hot chocolate, for 20% off said hot chocolate, and for the person who discovered how wonderful chocolate was as a hot drink and shared their finding with the world.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸9

Well, the best I can say about today is it's NSD No 5. Apparently, I'm supposed to and avoid strenuous exercise before tomorrow so that's my excuse for being totally lazy. Also got to fast after dinner and drink only water, As much of it as I can. So Himself is making dinner and then I'm going to bed to relax and read my book (number 3 in the series now) whilst he watches football. Life in the fast lane or what!!!Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7

Evening turtles
Very spendy day today as had to order my wheelsused the credit card as I forgot my car fund is locked and needs 31 days notice to access, so I've done the request and will transfer everything when I can. They won't arrive for about 2 weeks so am limited in where I can drive until then.
Also popped to pets at home for some rabbit food. Was looking for puppy pads as I use those for litter trays but can't find any anywhere! Decided to bite the bullet and buy some washable ones. Will see if they're any good.
Have had the slow cooker on batch cooking as well so dinners are mainly sorted.8 -
Evening turtles,@Toni'sfriend I have also been lazy today, but unlike you, I have no excuse!I have done the supermarket shopping though, so not a NSD - Lidl first, then W*itrose for the few things that they didn't have. I also rescued 2 geranium plants, and a pot of climbing French beans from the reduced section in W*itrose for 49p eachI saw a bamboo bathroom storage caddy thing in Lidl, and was tempted - but remembered that I have a small bamboo trolley / veg rack type thing in the garage, and decided to try that for size instead. It fits perfectly and looks nice, and will provide much needed additional storage in the bathroom. It is easy to move to clean the floor, as it is on little wheels. Pleased with that.As it is shopping day and I have already spent, I also ordered some decent tights for the wedding I will be attending at the end of next week. I was tempted to buy new shoes too, but swerved that. I already have some that will do.Not doing too well on the NSD front, I think I have only scored 3 so far. Must do better.Grateful today for my garden, reduced plants and using things I already have instead of spending yet more money!8

Sending hugs @Shrewbie & @grandmanerd. Hoping things will improve for you both soon. Good luck for tomorrow @Toni'sfriend.
Did yoga again today. Had got up a little later, luckily DS1 managed to wake up & get ready for work in 10mins, so he wasn't late! Leftovers packed for dinner today.
Didn't go for a walk after work today, had stayed chatted to a teacher, so when I got home, me & DH loaded up the car with stuff to take to the dump. It's just up the road from work, so won't need to make a special trip if I go tomorrow, when I've finished for the day.
Spent today, topping up DS3's dinner money card. A bag of clothes repaired after tea. Quite tired now.
Grateful for a trip to the library this afternoon, the first floor has big squashy sofas & a big window overlooking the harbour, did I mention I love books?! Supportive colleagues, & starting the big garage clear outUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!

Today was NSD 6 I think, the days are disappearing in a blur of work and puppy training! The cat still hates the puppy which is also slightly challenging 😂
Had a really good day off, time with a friend, a fun riding lesson, a constructive meeting and the sun shone!
Off to bed as I'll no doubt be up in 3 or 4 hours when pup decides its toilet time 😴😴😴10 -
Ooph, Shrewbie, that's a toughie. Abrazos xx

Thank you so much everyone, I’m confident that we’ll work it out.
Yesterday I had a headache until mid-morning, a very long work meeting and I was ready to drop by lunchtime. Felt better after a gym workout. No frogs eaten though. Picked up some treats for bf birthday on Tues so no NSD. Top up shop this morning, was shocked at the price.
I have the day off today, going to meet my friend from the airport later, very excited to see her, I think the last time we saw each other was August last year.Grateful for my friend coming to see me, for a slow morning and for no headache!Student loan £5655

Day started fabulous with getting up early, enjoying the sunshine, some exercise, journaling etc and went dramatically downhill from there.
The tomato plants and seeds I had ordered for the special offer of £9 delivered arrived but the toms where pretty much dead as the live plants just came in a shallow tray and had dried out. Will see if I can revive at least half, then it would still be good value.
Secondly, I realised that wowcher really just sells vouchers and my item didn't arrive because you just get a voucher code and have to redeem that with the actual supplier or sth. Got an order confirmation for the greenhouse (I thought) and the next day a voucher code, which I thought was for a future order (so I deleted it as I didn't want to buy anything else). Now it turns out my voucher expired after 5 days or so and that is about £70 down the drain. The only way to contact them is via WhatsApp!! Waiting to hear back.
Then when I got into work my mum rings and I knew. My aunt has been in bed the last few days, not eating and drinking (she was 90 and ready to go for the last 20 or so years) and she peacefully passed this morning. What I learnt from her is that I really should live my life to the full, it's never to late to start new (I wish she had at about 60 when her horrible husband died and she moved to our neighbourhood). I feels sad she didn't make the most of almost a third of her live. Her death just reinforced my commitment to change now.
