Hugo, Loop and Bright Energy Apps.
I have just downloaded these and successfully signed up and linked my smart meter. Hugo and Loop are showing my data but Bright is still in the process of getting my data.
I notice that whilst Hugo and Loop linked directly via my MPAN, Bright asked me to enter a code from my IHD. I guess they all get to the same source for my data.
Does anyone have any information on the particular merits of each of these apps?
I am a bit of a gadget person and don't have any particular goal in mind. Perhaps I will be able to further refine my usage management to drive down my consumption.

I quit using the loop app about a month ago because it wasn't giving me any electric usage data. I downloaded the Hugo app and so far it's being fine giving me the usage of electric every day. My IHD got water damage in 2015 so I binned it and cannot get the gas usage on any app but I keep tabs on my usage of gas weekly and it's being around 2 to 3 kWh per week since the middle of March.Someone please tell me what money is1

I have been viewing my data on Hugo and Loop and the daily electricity usage looks to be consistent with my records.
However both are showing virtually no electricity usage on 4th and 5th April. My IHD and E.ON Next app are showing the correct usage.
It seems strange that just these two days from the whole year to date are incorrect.0 -
Loop gets the data first and makes 3 requests a day so is the most up to date.in my experience and hasn't lost any data which Bright has and needed a email to support for them to pull it again.
Bright is the best looking app imo and loop often needs stopping and restarting on Android.
Hugo I haven't tried1 -

I am a great fan of Bright but as an Octopus customer I can get import and export data with prices via Octopus Watch; Octo-Aid and Octopus Compare.

Hugo and Loop both get their data from N3rgy so should both show the same things. Hugo has more active support, when en3rgy stopped recording my gas usage, a message to Hugo support got them to fix it.N3rgy also seemed to be able to pull my historical data, Hilderbrand/Bright only pulled data from when I signed up.As for which is best, Loop is easier to read. Hugo is easiest to report with e.g. set a date range and see what the usage was for that period and the Hilderbrand API makes it easy to get data into home assistant.1

Hugo let's me enter my actual tariff whereas last time I looked the others could only shown costs as if I were on the EPG which I am very much not so over £1000 out in q1 for example..I think....1

Loop has added tariffs back. Bright automatically takes it from your meter.
